You still don’t understand.

You buy low and sell high only on markets that have little absorption.

Forex has too much absorption which is why trend following and reversal trading both fail for most traders.

If you haven’t found away to be profitable in years, maybe go and understand why limit orders are stronger than market orders - and what it means. Then find markets to trade that your strategy actually has enough enough freedom to pay well.

I have noticed it moves more at evenings compared to lets say 7 years ago.
I guess asians and aussies got more doe then they used to.
Or some city of london folks relocated to Hong Kong or some such.
Though of course general day volatility is waaay less then 12 years ago.
Dramaticaly less.

Of course its difficult to incorporate ones WHOLE thought process.
Actually now that i think about it, the thought process is only a part of it.
It doesnt look to interesting. To anybody right now.
Meaning if things just sort of stay here, it means the buyers pushing on for weeks havent given up.
And it sort of means the sellers wherent to hungry after all even though the made a new bottom.
And right now its kind of not going anywhere.
So whats the use of looking at the screen?
Maybe i can learn something about tomorrow if i keep it up.

To most people the world is real simple.
Good or bad.

I saw a documentary about a catholic boys school in Ireland.
The principal there was a pretty cool guy.
Inspired by Plato.
So he used talks about what was the wrong thing or right thing to do with the kids in the school.
A socratic method.
Now, i dont agree with catholics about a lot of stuff like contraceptives, marriage, jesus and a few other things.
But that principal was a pretty cool guy anyway.
Those kids in that school had a pretty good thing going.

Its an illusion to live in a simple world of good and bad.
Someone like that wont see the beautiful nuances.

The chinese traditional doctors has a LOAD of options when taking someones pulse.
The throat, the left hand, the right hand and so forth.
On the top of my right hand i have a blood vessel that goes right over a bone.
Thats the easiest place for me to measure my pulse.

Little nuances like that.
Takes time and patience to appreciate them.

Another example.
Painting a picture.
If you never held a brush and used it on a canvas...
You will not appreciate the individual brush strokes of an artist.
And if you dont, a simple sketch or a simple painting has no elegance.

I was quite certain of the buyers eagerness.

That kind of headline is popular.
People dream of trading being simple.
Any sane person would make it only as complicated as it needs to be.
Why make it more complicated then it needs to be?
It would be illogical to make it MORE complicated.
So everyone is striving to make it simple.

I would say "Trading as complicated/simple as it has to be"
Thats a much better headline for it.
Meaning if i bring in a way of thinking, method, theory or what ever, its NOT to make it more complicated, its to make it more clear.

A point i try to put forward often though is that simply and solely describing trading in normal words leads to problems.
Since often we may seem to disagree about what we are trying to do because we use different words.
But we all try to buy and sell and close at the right time, no matter how you put it.

And so we have people thinking that they will follow the trend.
And people thinking that they are going to get in when price has nowhere to go.
And aiming at jumping in at the right time.
But all is really doing the same thing when you get down to it: There is a entry and a exit.

Sometimes.
Apparently things get stale and boring after a while.
Also the dead send me on various rather boring missions often.
There can be months when i simply cant trade, it dont work out.
Sometimes i guess its too much other stuff going on with my training or some beautiful woman that seems to need attention...
Sometimes im just to tired, having a bad time or confused.
And then after a while it comes back and i trade again.

Its funny you should mention "living".
I do trade FOR the living, but its the dead that keep me on the tracks.
That probably makes no sense at all.
But you didnt ask me to clarify. Yet.

Hey man, we trade pretty similar ways! My main business in facebook ads and lead gen does pretty well so I funded a 50k account for myself after lots of practice on my old 3k account and I am breaking even/slight profit at the moment. Do you have a discord or telegram or something? Would love to hang out and talk about trading. I'm from Australia and I'm on the PC living and breathing trading 12 hours a day haha.
