Doesn’t seem that way you keep blaming your failed attempts on freezing. If you have the proof feel free to post it, ftmo has an awesome virtual trading journal…. or try c trader, I’ve never had a problem

also these time stamps say the freeze lasted for less than 2 seconds at the most. Probably from when you’re just logging on it takes a second to load, not everything in this world is perfect.

Till today I have no concerns with FTMO, Since the trials to challenge, verification,payout everything went ok!
The attention was the same since my first trial account. Many thanks for FTMO!

Its so funny after anyone comes into these threads and posts anything about FTMO that they need to fix how "coincidentally" 3 or 4 other posts pop up defending FTMO.

Its this type of behavior that is really starting to concern me about the company.

you’ve made everyone aware of the nature and scale of your problems with FTMO. Sounds to me you’d be better off moving to firm you have confidence in.

I hope you’re all doing great and enjoying the sunny weather, new FTMO ForexFactory update is out.

Starting off with the platform updates as usual, on Saturday, 21 May 2022 from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm platform time (GMT+3), scheduled platform maintenance will be performed and therefore, trading will be unavailable on MT4/5 and cTrader. In addition, please be reminded that cTrader has a different trading hours schedule on Saturdays.

On Wednesday, 25 May 2022, NATGAS.f will roll its underlying futures contracts to the new contracts. In order to facilitate the process and protect the accounts from possible liquidity shortages and temporary price spikes, regardless of the account type (FTMO Challenge, Verification, or FTMO account), traders are required to close their positions on the symbol before 9:00 am on Wednesday, 25 May 2022. Trading will be enabled again at 10:05 am on the same day. Eventual positions left open after 9:00 am will be closed before 10:00 am at the prevailing market price.
All times are expressed in the MetaTrader server time (GMT+3/CEST+1).

And finally, due to the recent turmoil in the crypto markets, and in order to limit potentially dangerous effects of liquidity issues or flash crashes, on 14 May 2022, the leverage on Crypto CFD was reduced to 1:3 for Standard Accounts and 1:1 for Swing accounts. The leverage will remain in the current state until further notice

As we know that many traders are using third-party VPS providers, we have decided to make it a little easier for them and we partnered up with ForexVPS. All our traders have an exclusive 25% discount on the selected services in the Extras section of their Client Area

A few additional new features and services are currently being tested, and as usual, our IT department keeps on improving the Client Area step by step. The Account analysis for example, previously available only for FTMO Challenge, has been unlocked for all account stages.

Before I address the individual comments, I’d like to address a few points that several of the recent posts had in common.
Some of you have mentioned that you have encountered freezes on your trading platform. I believe that the vast majority of the cases are related to the outage that occurred on the 3rd of May, which I informed you about in the previous update. Since then, we have encountered one more quick price freeze, specifically on the 16th of May for about 5 minutes and on US30 only (I believe that the freeze Driven18 is referring to on the previous page). Other than that, our servers have not suffered any other issues/outages.

Let me go ahead and address your recent comments one by one as usual…

Hi AustinMB, thank you for your suggestions, however, I believe that we have already managed to find an answer to both of your aforementioned points.

Recently, we have come up with the 14-day extension possibility for all traders on their FTMO Challenge. What it means is that if you have at least 5% profit on your FTMO Challenge 3 days before the end of your trading period, you can extend your FTMO Challenge by another 14 calendar days. You can find more details here.

With the second point, I think there might have been some sort of misunderstanding. During the Evaluation Process (FTMO Challenge and Verification), there are no restrictions on trading news or holding positions over the weekend, both are allowed. For those traders who want to trade the restricted news and hold their positions over the weekend as well also during the FTMO Account stage, we created the Swing account type that permits doing so.

Hi Mdot, I would definitely disagree that we do not care about and hear out the feedback we receive from our traders. Just within the last year, we have removed the minimum of 10 trading days requirement from FTMO Accounts, removed the fixed monthly Profit Split Day and replaced it by the payout-on-demand system, introduced the 14-day extension feature, Swing accout type and so on. Moreover, we are certainly not slowing down behind the scenes and your feedback is as important for us as it was a couple of years ago.
Also, please note that promoting/advertising our competition is not allowed on this forum.

Hi Israel4real, please note that the timezone in MT4 can not be changed. However, cTrader allows doing so, so if the platform time is crucial for you, you can go that way.

Hello Murad-pips, once you become an FTMO Trader, there are two more rules (outside of the Trading Objectives) that you have to follow.
You must not trade the affected instrument 2 minutes before and 2 minutes after the release of restricted news - more on that here.
You also must close your trades if the particular market closes for 2 hours or more. If you trade forex for example, it means that you must close your positions on Friday - more on that here.
If you want to trade all the news and hold your positions for as long as you wish, you can pick the Swing account type. However, in order to mitigate the risk that trading news (increased volatility and low liquidity) and hold trades over the weekend (possible gaps) represents for us, the levarage on the Swing account type is reduced to 1:30.

Hello Gobigfx, on the 15th of April, we provided you with a new FTMO Challenge as we have confirmed that one of our servers was temporarily overloaded, likely causing a momentary outage.
Later on, you contacted us on the 13th of May mentioning another freeze has occurred. Upon an investigation, we have confirmed that there was no issue on our end and moreover, no similar complaints were received either.
Regarding the pdf files attached, the MT4 _ FTMO2 file shows the MetaTrader Network reconnecting to a different DC, which is completely normal as your platform is simply switching to a different server with the best latency available. As you’re using the web platform, we, unfortunately, can not investigate your logs either.
Finally, upon using MetaManager to check your trading activity, we have found out that your latency was quite unstable, moving from 25ms to 150ms, which indicates a rather unstable connection. As we have not registered any issues on our end and there are no proofs of their existence, we can not provide you with any compensation.

I have just bought a new challange with E8funding and so far they seem a lot better and based in Dallas Texas I am very happy about that!!

Whats embarrasing is that your still a SUCKER and paying for services that you do not recieve.

Anyone that pays for something and does not get what is promised deserves a refund and if you want to keep being a SUCKER go for it.

You will see the problems on your own and get what you deserve.

very true…… I’m about to post a picture with my 4K payout when it comes and embarrass this kid. He just keeps making excuses for his poor trading.

I am hoping to pass my $200k challenge this week. The reason I selected FTMO over other prop firms is that when the payout time comes most will run you around while FTMO is always there. My two friends have been receiving payouts for 4 months now (never an issue).

What "other" prop firms do you speak of? The only ones I'm aware of that give more than 30-60 days are the direct funding garbage where your fee is equal to or greater than your DD allowed. You don't need a firm to do that. You'll actually make far more trading that "fee" in a personal account.
You don't have to post them here as it is disrespectful to FTMO, but you can PM me or put in the "prop firm hub" thread.

Right and that search leads to all the garbage.......5%ers, CTI, Lux, etc where you pay a fee greater than your allowable loss. Of course, there is no time limit. You are simply funding your own account and giving up 40-50% of your profits for doing so. It is a great deal for the firm and horrible for the trader.
I was asking you to PM me the firm that gives you 20 times the DD for the fee you pay like FTMO does AND gives 6-12 months to pass. That model does not exist.
