Hi all ... SP500 comes back from scary levels. I ask how and why. What I mean is who ... who are the buyers? Is this just the same as all the other corrections? Valuations are reset lower, big hands swoop in and buy then ride the wave higher in the end. Retail traders get shaken out of their positions. They are taught to use stops. Me it does not matter I'm not an investor but still it makes me wonder. So in posting this it seems one day in future we are going to make new all time highs again. {image}
Perfect chart dline, self explaining and this is the way trading is done every holy day: weak hands sell for fears, for panic, for stops while BigHands buy their orders, and viceversa.

I hold 1 DAX CFD 13935 + 1 FDXS 13993.
I see Madame Lagarde will speak next hour, so lets wait her usual sell off, before adding something more.....
I'm joking, but maybe not too much.....anyway lets see if DAX will hold 14k or not, after 9CET.

Very low volumes so far after 9CET, it seems traders or investors or whatever they are, are scared from these rollercoaster markets.....

I kind of agree that we need a more decisive action from the Fed. But again, if he does that we'll start panicking about it the moment after. These so called experts have their well known character as you pointed out. Аt any point in time, there are a bunch who say one thing and a bunch that say the opposite. Then the media picks up whatever convenient in the moment. Same as in any camp: Pick up whatever data/info/opinion/medical study/paper pleases you and ignore the rest.

Bill Ackmann went heavily short on March 2020 1st Covid wave and then he went to every media, financial and not financial, saying the US must be closed for a Month to fight the virus and spread panic on media.
He even talked (there were many tweets also) with President Trump asking for a total close of the Country.

Easy to say when he shorted main US indices for billions and billions the days, the weeks before.
Disgusted form these kind of people, they deserve the hell flames, when made money on the skin of the ordinary people.
I'm not naive anymore, unfortunately, and I learned that everybody is talking on TV, on internet, on journals is most of the time linked to these so called gurus......
Obviosuly there are some exceptions, but it's hard to find them.....
