DislikedOk so here goes. My experiences buying challanges I am a very experienced trader I started several FTMO $200,000 challenges starting over 8 weeks ago. Some of them I failed legitimatly because of the rules so I accept that responsability. HOWEVER several challanges I failed because their servers had frozen and trades were not able to be exited in a timely manner !!! In the case of these challanges the company apologized and offered new challange accounts. I accpeted the new accounts on the basis of " IF the problems happened again (freezing platform)...Ignored

DislikedI can confirm that yesterday there was a dangerous server freezing at the most important time - opening of the NY session...price was frozen and intermittently moving/not moving for the first 5 minutes - unacceptable.Ignored
DislikedThis is sad. FTMO is quickly getting a bad reputation and their lack of acknowledgment of the situation and doing right by traders is putting up a huge red flag. I HIGHLY recommend everyone inform all of the trading communities they are a part of spread the word throughout the trading community. We shouldn't have to put up with this and get brushed and FTMO not do right by traders. There's no reason why someone should have to pay for another challenge because FTMO technology failed. A trader should be able to start right back where they left off...Ignored

Either way if your risk management was proper that wouldn’t matter either way . 200k account if you risk 200$ a trade you have to lose 100 trades in a row to lose the challenge, if you’re placing 50 trades a day and lose all of them you fail the daily drawdown requirement….. and if you’re placing 50 trades in a day you’re probably revenge trading. Make all the excuses you want man… seems like they tried to accept responsibility for what happened and you won’t let it down because you lost a few...Ignored
