End of the week recap... -3 pips based on post 12,700, May 3rd. The indecision that sometimes plagues me is a good sign the week will end flat.

End of the week recap: 195 pips based on post 12,702, May 7.

It's a good idea to change direction only after a trend line break.

... and totally off message... I am experimenting with a grid EA, running it 24/7 on a windows 10, micro computer that uses very little power (like 10 watts) and cost me less than $50 on eBay.

The recommended starting balance with the EA is $5,000 but knowing how risky they can be, I upped the demo balance to $100k and let it run for the past 2 weeks... The profits are steady and incremental, gaining $2k/wk. The maximum drawdown is .04% so far with 3,148 trades in this time frame.

Outlook for next week: Recovery until Thursday then down to finish the week. Do place a trendline along the upward trajectory to help decide when to enter.

Sure thing... Is is of any interest here to keep posting updates once a week? Perhaps I should start a new thread... The robot opens and closes a crazy amount of trades... over 5,800 in 3 weeks... 61% winners... yet the equity curve is nice and steady and the drawdown minimal with a large enough account. The Win 10 computer that is running it is a tiny Azulle Quantum One, model A. It is fanless (silent) and uses very little power... the power supply is a 12v wall wart. They are on eBay starting at $40. I found an old small monitor on eBay for $5 to keep it all separate from my regular desktop set up.

End of the week recap, from post 12,706, May 13th...

One of the recurring issues is whether to smooth the curve to a larger or lesser extent. In the first image, I took the same settings as in 12,706 but reduced the smoothing to create more subdivisions. In this week's PA, that would have resulted in catching to major swings on the 30 min chart almost perfectly. (Image 1) Net gain would have been 380 pips.

I have felt that it was better to give up some pips and find the major swings but then that approach can create the situation we saw this week with the pair having 2 major swings on Wednesday and Friday. The smoother curve in effect averaged the Wed. and Fri. swings, which if followed exactly resulted in a net loss of 34 pips. (Image 2)

{quote} Hello, is this the cycle called "Marie The Angel of Mercy" ? I saw someone in another forum had posted turning dates on EUR/USDand has mentioned that he has used MAM cycle. I really dont know yet what that cycles is. However this is very interesting and is it on historical data that this chart based on or a planetary cycle?
Ignored
MAM (Mars and the "angle" of Mercury) but it's not that simple you need to know how to use a Square in relation to square price to predict a price and date for trend change. hint: square of 12 or 24 or whatever vibrates with the asset. you must have the cycles. once you have the cycle, you have the pivot date. then you check the angle in the square to calculate the price on the turn. this is why they say "price is knowable in advance" like in Gann's wheat call. "i do not care what the price is right now, i know price must go there" you can also harmonize with the squre of nine as the angle is repeating from the past. without the cycles, it's all impossible to calculate. that's where the work is done and nobody is going to give you that for free. test, test again and retest and when you find it, it will feel like you have your very own atm machine. M~

The robot continues to perform consistently and well... I set up a powerful, always free Windows Server instance with 5 cores on an x86 CPU, 64 gb of RAM and 200 gb storage, forever free using Oracle cloud. Installing MT4 and my EA and letting it take over the trading was a breeze. This is far more powerful than costly VPS's and did I say Free? Data throughput is 3 gb/second.... When I clicked download on the MT4 file, it appeared instantly.

End of the week recap:

-172 pips for week based on post 12,710, May 21.

Had an inversion again... still a mystery. Perhaps I should hold off all positions until 24 hours has passed after the Market open on Sunday.

Since nothing in life is free and if something looks too good to be true, it mostly is, whats the catch here?
Everyone can see the chart, but only a few can actually read it.

No catch... It is working fine and they seem to be committed to free at this level. By Netflix standards it is way too modest... but to run MT4 it is more than enough.

This planetary cycle method makes a lot of sence. A bit overwhelming. This graph with Mars and Jupiter, does it mean the eur/usd is supposed to continue its climb on tuesday?

Yes

There may be ups and downs along the way to an overall trend that price will end the week higher than the open.

Hi Everyone,

I narrated a new video this time and used the traditional Spectrum module for Primo users... it works just as well.... How to choose an astronomy pair and how to determine the best harmonic based on the Spectrum cycle closest to 50 days... more importantly, how to determine if it needs to be inverted or not for the upcoming week.

All the best,
