Before 1970,, Here is inflation.. Other than war periods. There was very little inflation between. Very stable.. Grandma could save her money in the bank and get 5% interest for decades. 5% of undeflated interest. 5% with little inflation robbing her.

I think most people are whistling past the graveyard. This is what we are used too. Ukraine wheat harvest may not come in June. Ukraine has stopped exporting on the fear of not having enough for it. Gold broke 1873.xx support.. It hasn't closed the month or week below. Some will say "under world stress. Gold is good to own." I may be wrong. To me, food is more valuable. Less weddings etc take place when hungry. Investors, gold bugs will certainly buy the stuff. The higher usage demand starts about September. That demand is for the same reasons as in the quoted post. Cultural ceremonies and such. 2.8 billion people is a lot of demand. It could be a lot of supply if they start selling. It will also be a lot of less demand. With a food deficit, I suspect that will happen.

They same here.. but will hold -0584 shorts, if it looks like post FOMC looks to be below it. Below 0506.8 even better. I think that could set up a test of 0325 and lower.
