Hi there,

If someone has a funded ftmo account, does he have to meet a minimum profit? like 10% or there is no mimimum?

I am about to sign up for the 200K challenge.

when u get the funded account you ll have no target to reach anymore, just the daily max and overall DD to respect and depending on ur chosen account, news to look after if not swing account.

I can highly recommend ftmo. I dont understand the problems people talk about.
I received my profit split+challenge fee on the actual profit split day.Everything was smooth and without a hassle.
Just stick to the rules and everything will be great!!!

So on a 100k aggressive account if i make 60k but have a day where i lose 11k, my account will be suspended?

Starting off with the platforms: due to the Bank Holiday, the symbols UK100.cash and HK50.cash closed early at 11:00 pm and 10:00 pm, respectively.
Scheduled maintenance on all our platforms is on the way! On Saturday, 30 Apr 2022 from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm platform time (GMT+3/CEST+1), trading will be unavailable on MT4/5 and cTrader. Be reminded that cTrader has a different trading hours schedule on Saturdays.
All times are expressed in the MetaTrader server time (GMT+3/CEST+1).

Hi Procrude, asi 1odi and Isabella_D correctly mentioned, once you pass your Verification and start trading on a FTMO Account, there is no longer any profit target required, you can withdraw 80% of whatever you make. Also, if you manage to make a total profit gain of 10% after 4 months of trading (2.5% a month on average) and you process at least 2 withdrawals as well, you will meet the conditions of our Scaling Plan, which means your initial balance will be increased by 25% and your Profit Split ratio will change to 90/10.

Hi Hazelj80, the Max Daily Loss resets every day at midnight CE(S)T. If you lose more than $10,000 in a single day on a $100,000 Aggressive mode account, the Trading Objective would be exceeded as the profits made on previous days are no longer included in the calculation. This way we’re ensuring the account is managed consistently and we’re preventing traders from taking unnecessary exposures.

How does scaling work in relation with DD? If I have a 200k (normal) account I have 10k daily / 20k total DD limit (5%/10%). I can merge accounts up to 400k.
Question 1:/ If I merge up to 400k would that give me a 20k daily / 40k total DD limit?
Question 2:/ Once I have 400k and I achieve 10% net profit in the next four months then my account would be scaled up 25% to 500k. Would the new 500k account have 25k daily / 50k total DD limits?

challenge is acceptable, no one will give any body access to their money for the nice look, but why does one has to pay for it, it's like I could never understood people that pay to shop, where it really should go other way around.
Looks like milking money to me from naive people.

You dont have to pay for it if you dont want to, theres nobody pushing you to do it. If you cant afford to buy this challenge, then perhaps this isnt for you. For most of us, this is pocket money. And if you know how to print money from the market, then its just faster way to build your trading capital.

I too had issues on a demo trial, my account had no connection for a good 30 to 60 minutes. I would like to know if people had issues on an official trial, or passed FTMO funded accounts. Anyone?

I am currently in the $200,000 challenge. I had the same issue. Luckily, I was not in an open trade so all good. From what I can see everything is resolved now.

What is the difference between a regular account and a swing account?
1. leverage
2. spread?

why choose swing?

and is it possible to extend the demo account?

I am on the swing account, its less leverage 1:30 but you can trade during news and hold positions over the weekend. My trade style suits lower leverage so I took it. Everything is very clearly mentioned on the ftmo website.

I want to make a suggestion for free trials.

if you fail that it should start over immediately

you shouldn't have to wait the 15 days. you know you failed just get a new trial account and start over
