it's very rare i don't trade
i took some on euro but wasn't much

even without position i am "afraid" for tomorrow and weeks to come.

this is the hardest environment I've seen in the last 20 years.

and i did start investing after 9/11

2008/2009 - 2012/ 2020 - got them all

but i don't remember having such a market (stocks, bonds, credit spreads, money markets) and raising interest rates - Never

My allowable risks today is 2.5%, which I have to flat a lot of trades..
not good to trade this kind market, just waste my time and energy.
I am holding some Eur shorts atm.. soon those are booked, I will stay sideline as well.. wait for FMOC tomorrow.

I had a red day yesterday. Gold stopped, AJ stopped. Today one trade on that AJ, just a little green. I don't plan on making, or losing money till after NFP. I'm looking to get in the next few days with smaller positions, maybe at "pumped up" prices. I plan to hold, and cash out some green after NFP. Like i said, a pump would "price in" some bad NFP. A good NFP would have that negative pump, plus the good NFP to run with the trend.

Were are all used to things going up in price (except electronics). Our brains are programed to believe things through life experience. In that time we have all saw prices rise on most things. When on the gold standard, and before the 1968 wars. Inflation was not like what we experienced the last 50 years. After WW2 a barrel of oil was just over 2.15 $. It remained in a range from 2.15 to 3.40$ until 1970 (about 23 years). The wars, embargo, gold standard, Vietnam funding, domestic oil production shrunk under 50%. All hit in a short period of time. Oil has moved higher since. The USD has mostly deflated That all slowed after the 2008 crash.

Today oil production is above 50% again. The U.S. is exporting oil again. The USD is getting stronger. We don't know how to act. Because this is not what we have seen most of our lives. China with it's energy deficit. May require less commodities. All those companies grew on energy subsidized by the Chinese government. When your building a war machine. You have less money to subsidize stuff. Just ask the Russians stealing tires from the Ukraine's.

That chart may be a weird Head and Shoulder. It may be ready to dive. The double bottom broke.

I can remember a 500$ Curtis Mathis Tv was the top of the line. Back then a tv, radio, or washing machine would last decades.
