Ive got 4 trade on small lots. testing

Have alert set when price reaches 1to1 profit to adjust SL to BE.

The directional bias is on the upside. Most of Emma's successful setups with the V-Pattern are on the same direction as the bias (trend). Firstly you need to identify the range of the pullback. Secondly identify the Support of the decision area where the price direction was concluded (up or down). The High/Low of that area is where you you will find stops (of those who were going along with the "trend"). They will seek to take out those stops.

In summary the V-Pattern is just a way of visualizing the price movement where there is a directional bias and then a pullback that aims to take out the stops of those who entered or moved their stops to the previous main decision point or area's High/Low. After the stops have been taken out price might continue to move with the directional bias.

From your setup it seems you were going against the directional bias (but bear in mind from a HTF point of view we have a narrow consolidation or absorption and so you are still trading within a ranging market).

That is because the Context might have been overlooked.

Like another member said the V-Pattern is everywhere. It is very important to look at the Context and not just go for and trade any V that you see.

What about posting after to show the losing trades? In the earlier posts some did that but their intentions were to show that the V Pattern doesn't work. However a good Price Action trader knows that Context is more important. A head and shoulder pattern does work if you carefully consider the Context. Those who were against the V pattern erred because they didn't consider the Context. The V Pattern is a signal - it will work and it will not work sometimes. But what is more important is the Context to make it work at most of the time. This means that you will be very selective - select the patterns that complies with the Context and you can use Confluences as confirmation.
