Today, my first Long trade went against me. I turned around and recovered the loss with a bit of profit.

As you can see on my charts, I have removed the oscillators from them, as they have proved to be useless, and only introduce unecessary complications to trading. Instead, I have applied the VWAP.mq4 which I have attached to # Post 1. This indicator plots 3 moving averages which are volume weighted, one Monthly, one Weekly, and one Daily. These levels are very good for estimating the state of the market.

So, what you see on my charts are some very simple things, basically some close price levels, and the VWAP.
The close price levels are plotted from the 1 Minute data, so they appear before the 15 Minute candle closes.

I am closing this thread.
One reason is that nobody is interested.
Another reason is that all those indicators are total Bull Shit!
They tell you nothing, completely nothing!
The only way to make money in trading is to be consistent and have no ideas at all,
just take the stoploss, and take the takeprofit.
If anyone, ever tells you that indicators mean anything, they are selling you Bull Shit!

Only a few people can be successful at this thing!
So, stop fooling yourself!
You either have what it takes, or you don't.

Sir i just found this thread and saw what you wrote, many who trade have different stages of accomplishment, some are almost there, they refuse to give up and some who are there got there because they did not give up
the use of indicators is with price action not just indicators, depending on what you use them for and how you use them depending on years of tries and fail for example
most indicator make you sell when is buy and buy when is sell,

what i know works occasionally with patience is stick to one currency pair for a start try to understand how it buys/sells and know if you need indicator or not depending on your trading style or how much you wish to make, i am just sharing idea, i dont mean to tell you what to do please dont misunderstand


session highs/lows must be removed before you check for buy or sell gbpusd only 1min or 5min chart london session 14 or 29 pips

Sorry to hear this but I disagree with you.

I agree that oscilators do not work well. 50% maybe and thats not enough.

VWAPs are great, but that not the only story to trade.
It's better to be out wishing to be in... than to be in wishing to be out!
