In order to have multiple accounts with the 5ers one must use a 'different trading method'. What do they mean by this?

Hey Nsak3y

The position is closed as one position in its entirety. There's no risk of slippage for these reasons:

  1. The positions are relatively small because the traders want to avoid big drawdowns and because it's a $50K account with a 30:1 leverage.
  2. This is the Forex market, so there's enough liquidity to execute these trades at the requested price.
  3. We're offering only major pairs and crosses, so again - there's enough liquidity and less volatility compared to exotic pairs.

Hey mayr

You need different strategies if you have more than one Bootcamp program (you can have up to three).

With the Instant program, you can use a copier (you can have up to three).

With Freestyle, you can have only one account.

Hello Gil,
I get it, but how do you determine - what are you looking at to determine - what are "different strategies"? Are you looking at average holding period and/or average trade size and/or average pip value of trades, OR are you looking at which asset is traded? For example if I trade (scalp) EURUSD in one account, can I use a second account to scalp AUDUSD or a minor like EUR/JPY, as long as I trade/scalp EURUSD only in the first account?

We do not want traders to copy trades between Bootcamp accounts.

As long as this is not the case, no problem.

It looks like I over complicated this LOL.
But it sounds like as long as I split the symbols among accounts there won't be a problem with this rule.

Another question is I read somewhere that - with the exception of daily/overall drawdowns and SLs - in case of a minor rule breach such as being flagged for trade copy or martingale you send a warning email and not automatically suspend the account. If true, this gives a valuable opportunity to clarify any misunderstandings and/or adjust trading parameters accordingly in order to keep the cooperation. Is this your general policy?

Although it's written on the website that any account with over 3 violations will be automatically terminated.
We understand that mistakes can happen, so we allow up to 5 violations.

Hello, again.

I have a question regarding lot size averages as it pertains to the Freestyle model. When determining a valid 'lot size range' (2.5x average position size), is this average taken from overall, total trades or from the previous 3 to 5 trades or similar?

Also, if a trader deviates from this allowable range, are those trades counted towards their 100-trade-total? I assume that any potential draw-down from those trades is counted, even though the profit is not?

From a trader's perspective, I think that it would be preferable to calculate the allowable range based on a few previous trades, in lieu of the overall total. If not that, then the preferred approach would be to simply not count such trades towards the 100-trade-total, since the profit from such trades would not be counted towards the performance factor. Perhaps, any potential draw-down should also not be counted on such trades.

Just sharing my thoughts. Any good trader should be able to work within the parameters that you currently have, either way.

I have a questions

1.What happens if I hit my 10% target in the first week of the month(proper risk management just-high RR) do i wait for the next month to go to the next stage or I continue trading on the current stage or I will instantly go to the next milestone? how many times can you scale a account in a month?

2. can you give us a screenshot of your spreads?

Hey Nsak3y

Your lot size average is taken from all of your trades then we times that by 2.5 to get your threshold range.
All trades taken will count towards your 100 trades, but won't be counted in the P.factor if they are over the threshold range.
All DD will be counted at the end when we work out the P.factor.

If you want to add more size on your positions you can do that, just do it slowly over a few trades and not look for that 1 lucky trade.

If I were to trade on your mt5 platform as a swing/position trader, what would I expect to see for widening spreads for both weeknight and over-the-weekend positions? Would you be able to give me some real numbers for some of the majors and major crosses, please? I have searched the web for an answer, and could only find the term “better spreads and spread protection”, pertaining to your system. As a swing/position trader, I want to make sure that my trading is sustainable using those spreads, while adhering to the strict stop-loss rules needed to be in your programs. Thanks kindly.

Thank you for giving a link to your YouTube video of live quotes in action. I have seen a video like this, and agree that the live spreads are nice. Watching the video doesn’t answer the question that I was asking, though….What do the spreads widen out to during the one hour rollover during the trading week, and also, what do they widen out to at the end of Friday’s trading, going into the weekend? Thank you very much if you could answer that, and give some examples, please.

Weekly Forex Forecast April 11 - 15, 2022

Here's today's recording of the forex trading room session.

In today’s trading room, we discussed several subjects that may influence the market for the following week.

First, the French election with the poll of the first presidential round, where Macron is leading. This affected the EUR to open with a gap-up at the opening of the week.

Secondly, the JPY is continuing its bullish movement. The JPY is still in a huge resistance zone, and we wouldn't be surprised if we see some retracement in the USDJPY or EURJPY.

Also, we talked about Oil that reaches below $100/barrel at the opening according to the fear of lower consumption in China with a potential lock-down caused by the Covid.

Finally, the USD is still getting stronger, supported by the 10Y treasury bonds.

To recap the Freestyle program updates:

1. Program now offers a full refund of the challenge fee following successful completion.
2. Cheaper 25K account option now available.
3. First account has a free reset that can be used at any time, even if you are in draw-down (i.e. you get two tries to pass).

Regarding #3, does the free reset apply to each new account that is purchased, or, does this reset only apply once per trader over the lifetime of the program?
