I'm not sure this indicator warrants a red mark for volatility on the calendar. Historically it hasn't been a massive market mover as far as I recall.

can someone post some past datas and effects caused by those datas for reference?

u call 20 pips in 6 minutes a dud , wow, well got me my 10 pips off of it and Empire never does anything much this was actually not a bad one for this news event

when i was +11 Moved My SL to +3

SL Hits... Total= +3

was it red? i thought it has been orange the whole time.

this is one of those reports that are sometimes orange and sometimes red. i think we usually lean orange with this one though..

today, however, it definetely should have been red, did you see the volatility! pretty surprising!

u lookin for 20 pips on this guy max, sounds like a bit much to try to suck the entire amount out of this meager news event but uve been doin this longer than I so GL

can sometimes provide a good 20 pips, but everyone seems to waiting for the fomc minutes, i will only trade the fomc if its a sell, or get in on the fade

the upside to most trades this week has been limited by technicals, so after the fomc and all day thursday i think we will see another large downwards movements on the eur/usd and usd/gbp

I traded the CAD news and made +10 with 1 lot and +15 with 1 lot.


The CAD news this morning had, IMHO, a better chance to do something...and so it did.

anyone have a clue whats going to happen when the fomc minutes are released, i cant work it out if the consensus is for a slight weakening of the dollar

I got 10 on the Caddy as well, I LOVE THE CADDY, it moves nice and slow off news, it doesnt slamm usually but while no one is looking it sneaks up in the direction of the news
