Here is my tweak to this strategy..and it's amazing. I see a lot of people are getting confused on how to find the V shape. don't worry anymore just add TMA bands onto your chart in my case i trade the A shape and V shape together.. Your A shape for buys or V shape for sells is supposed to touch the upper band and lower band...you want your tma band to be horizontal for better results. "a ranging market" i took a quick buy on Gold 5 minute time frame and it was beautiful

In most successful cases what I am seeing is that you are catching the downfall after wave 5 which is either wave a or wave c. The previous benchmark in most cases is also the top of a previous wave 5. A lot of strategies become successful the moment they start capturing one of the major moves within the Elliott wave.

you could just use TMA here and you would have 3 profitable trades

I use TMA bands called Price border. change where it says Half length to 100 and ATR multiplier to 2.8 play with ATR multiplier on different time frames and find your sweet spot. but remember the bigger the multiplier the bigger the pips you will get when the V shaped is formed.
