It is not only just the HL Jeanlouie. Yours indis are from great idea and helpful too, but would you pls recheck this code as it seems to miss a few or there were rules or settings I should learn in addition I may have overseen

Relax I was kidding, I was calling myself a dope, precisely zero issue taken.

There is a setting I didn't mention earlier, the engulfing period. The second input. The candles you circled are only engulfing 1 candle to the left, my indicator gives you an option to select an engulfing candle, that engulfs to the left or right, x number of candles. There is one successful candle highlighted, and it's engulfing period is 4-left, no other candle engulfs to the left, 4 candles.
jeanlouie, many years ago when I first starting trading FX, you had this mutli colored band that showed the trend. A lady friend of mine, in New York used that with a couple of other indicators for divergence to build a small acoount into something huge. What sort of a setup are you trading today with all the new information out about trading, If I amy ask.

Please look at my requests, the 7 channel tma true can be used to scalp lower timeframe for profits just about every time you pull the trigger

I do not tade for a living, or would describe myself as a trader. I'd doubt there's any significant new information about trading in the last 40years, outside of hft on the hardware end and social media on the hysteria end.

Hello all,

I have found an interesting indicator showing Breakeven level information for MT4.

The indicator displays the breakeven line in the form of a horizontal line on the chart of a currency pair; Sell and Buy separated and/or one line cumulative.

To calculate the breakeven line, open positions for this currency pair are taken.

I am asking if is it possible to evaluate not only one magic number, but a combination of Multiple Magic Numbers generating a cumulative breakeven line.

so from :

Including a picture would help to better understand your point and your request, because referencing the SyncCursor indicator -- even if useful for other purposes -- does nothing to actually increase the font-size of anything. The price scale font is not affected, AFAIK, so without a picture to reference, I am confused why you think it does. The price and time scale fonts are the same size to me.

That said, the (free market) indicator suggested by eess is very helpful in that it does offer a way to get an over-layed timescale with a bigger font (your main apparent request). Not only that, one could specify a different timezone offset which makes it easy to see, for example, your local timezone, or NY time, or that of a different broker, all very helpful to coordinate the times on a chart with other timezones.

You referenced a useful 'SyncCursor.mq4' indicator, but it's main purpose is to show crosshairs on *multiple* charts, synchronized at the same time (regardless of Symbol), and the same price also (only useful on charts with the same Symbol). That said, for those interested in synchronized cursors, feel free to do your own search, but there are some advantages to one by Nicholishen. You only need to add the indicator to ONE chart, although you can do more than one if you want more than one chart to be the "master" that moves the crosshairs. Bindkey 't' toggles on/off the crosshairs. Double-clicks can create anchor points that do persistent measurements (in price & #bars) between points.

For more info, check out the 'nn_Crosshair_Sync_2_1_3.ex4' (or later) indicator by Nicholishen.

My guess is what you really need to do (for larger fonts) is simply to increase the Windows monitor "scale" factor from 100% to 125% or larger. This makes the price and time fonts bigger, along with everything else. Beware, however, that many indicators create labels of a particular font-size, and when you increase your monitor scale, those created objects grow in size -- UNLESS the code uses a simple routine to scale it appropriately! Here is the function that returns a scaled font-size:

Right click somewhere in blank space on your windows display, then choose "Display Settings", then change "Scale"

Script 'FIFO_CloseAll_Options.mq4' is posted here. It can close by order type, so you just select the Pending orders. The fact that it's 'FIFO' compliant makes no difference if your broker does not enforce the USA FIFO rule, but if your broker enforces FIFO, the script/method may be required.

The bigger question you should ask is why is your EA doing excessive orders? A bug of some sort. I've no interest in such grid EA's, so will leave others to explore if they want to.

Regarding 'nn_Crosshair_Sync_2_1_3.ex4'. This indi is great except when you try to analyse different chart you cannot do it without putting indi on. So it have to be added to every chart.
Tried alternate font sizer but it doeasnt work inside mt4 charts.

Here is 100% and 125%. So I suppose indi solution by ess is the best option.

By the way I have markings left from one idicator which I used in the past. Deleted all objects in the chart set clean chart as default and still have those stains visible on USDX chart. Is the only solution to make new mt4?

I'm not sure what you mean by "stains". I see 3 USDX charts which use a different color scheme for the background, bar colors, etc.
You could use 'F8' then if you're lucky, a simple change of the Color scheme to 'Green on black' might match the colors of your black charts, otherwise you'd have to change each color one-by-one to match whatever you want.

Or... I see some strange red & green shapes floating in space on the right-most-gray-background "USDX.a,M1" chart, which maybe you call "stains".

Obviously you would check with Ctrl+I to see the entire list of indicators, and remove anything unexpected.

They could be caused by some buffers on an indicator, so for each indicator in the list, double-click on each one, and review the "Colors" tab. Does any indicator have both red and green colors for 2 of the buffers? Try removing that indicator and see if the shapes disappear.
EDIT: Also check the regular "Inputs" tab and look for the red/green colors there, although they could be hard-coded and not in the list.
You could save a template for the chart as is, then one by one delete each indicator and see if the shapes are removed. (See below re. actual "objects").

When you use Ctrl+B to look at the list of objects, be sure to click on "List all", as in:

Objects can have "OBJPROP_HIDDEN" set to true, so they'll only show up on the list when "List all" is deliberately checked.

But you said you started with a "clean" chart, yet still see the shapes. That sounds very strange. I suppose you could have a corrupted history file, but it makes no sense if the shapes are red and green, which doesn't match your color scheme for the bars. If you do File->Open Data Folder, then navigate under "History" and then -- in your case -- "Pepperstone-Edge05", you should see something like USDX.a1.hst (the final "1" being for an M1 chart; I'm not sure you'd see the 1st period or some other character). I didn't test this, but I think if you exit MT4, delete the file, and restart it, the M1 history should download fresh from the server.

If you end up re-installing MT4, you could first use your existing MT4 to File->Profiles->Save as, then give it a name. Do "Open Data Folder" and keep that window open. Exit MT4 (this saves the profile for sure).

Then you copy that profile under Open Data Folder-> profiles, see your new profile name, select and copy it. Then in your new MT4, Open Data Folder in that one, go under profiles, and paste the profile there. Restart that MT4. Your profile should be one of the choices you can select. See if it restores all of your charts properly. If it still has the "stains", I've no idea what else to suggest.

Hi, I want to build a EA based on the following condition

if ClosePrice>EMA(200) && ClosePrice>RSI(50 level) && Closeprice<ParaboliceSar then Buy

and if ClosePrice<EMA(200) && ClosePrice<RSI(50 level) && Closeprice>ParaboliceSar then Sell

I am not a coder. I have coded the logic but its giving alert in every candle when the condition met. I want to get alert and push notification once for every buy and sell signal. Can anyone please help me code this EA and give alert with arrow signal and push notification with arrow signal .

Gotta one more question. Do you know why from time to time mt4 when I open it, it is opening all menus (market watch navigator terminal etc)?
Have no clue why it does it. I have about 25 metatraders as you can see in the screenshot. Its a lot of windows to close
