Hi Coders,

I'm making a second request for an indicator that will recognize price gaps no matter the size/distance of the gap & the indicator will display a line, or arrow in the middle of the gap. The line could be either be a small vertical or horizontal line. An arrow would work well too, or the ability to use either an arrow or a line.

I know there are other gap indicators out there & I have tried to use some of those, but they never seem to work well. If anyone knowns of another one, I might try that will do what I'm requesting please share.

Any help with the coding of this indicator would be greatly appreciate.

The 3 types of lines you mentioned are locked in place to price-time coordinates so that they are always stuck to a specific price/time, and they need to behave this way, otherwise any support and resistance lines which one attempts to draw are always moving to different prices/time which is not correct. Generally, the calculation of price gaps should be quite straight forward, if you haven't met any that work well, it is best that you elaborate what the problems are, so that other people who know of something can chip in to help you.

Hi acetrader . Try this. I think it similar you want if you want middle line setting top bottom color to NONE. and this indicator don't have arrow

Hi, may I request for an indicator. It is called broadening triangle/broadening formation.

Basically, creating higher highs and higher lows. It measures volatility.

Can one of you coders make an EA that will enter a trade when price goes outside the the channel and back in. just price has to cross back in not a candle has to open inside

Try adjusting X/Y positions,for example 55/55 and other related parameters to bring /display at required place at chart

EX files can not be changed. No one will decode this here. Contradicts the rule and the etiquette.

Nothing much we can help since there is no information about your indicator, check with the author who wrote that indicator.
Please programmers can you change this indicator to multi-time and make a special button for each frame

If it is a mql4 file and not a decode file you can post the indicator here. If it is an EX file you only have the idea of "eess".

As eess pointed out those objects are meant to be stuck on time-price coords, not window xy coords. I've never heard of someone wanting this feature or even seen it, so it got me thinking about it.

Objects_Stationary
- time-price objects fixed to xy position, and not subject to time/price scaling or time/price changes
- trendline, trendline by angle, horizontal line, vertical line, rectangle, circle/ellipse, triangle, channel, arrow up/down, check/cross
- basic styling
- clear all button
- the panel can be vertical or horizontal on any chart corner
