traders need to stop thinking in "pips" and start thinking in "%".

You can be up pips for the week but down money for the week, but you cannot be down % and be up money for the week.

Example:
Long EURUSD risking $100 with an entry to stop loss = 20pips.
You lose you are down $100 and -20pips.

2nd trade:
Long EURUSD risking $100 with an entry to stop loss = 10pips.
You win and you make$100 and +10pips.

Overall you are breakeven and still down 10pips.
