nice move off of the lows this morning. doubt we will get much higher before something major happens in Ukraine. Also on the lookout for a major sell off if the situation gets resolved somehow without major conflict.

WTI $100 defended, probably profit taking. wonder how far it will pull back and what will happen when US market opens. could get a massive sell off or $100 attacked again. expect volatility.

In 3 hours inventory figures will be released. Leaked actual over +5mln (would only trust after release).

yes i expect $100 will be broken however we could get a serious dip first and then another big rally. just going through the various scenarios.Doubt they will make it easy for anyone trying to jump in long.

expecting this to drop til $94 - $95 area. will be looking for a bounce. anything pass that could be signaling a deeper move down and possible change in sentiment

support around ~$91.50 (my charts) has been holding well, if it goes we could see a big drop or today could end up being a sideways dud.

Support was taken on Friday, and closed slightly higher.

So many news this weekend.
SWIFT sanctions applied to Russian banks.
Banks used for energy purchases -
Sberbank, VTB and Gazprombank.
Will be these banks excluded from the list? If yes, will know where we head next.

based on the rejections at the top. i'm anticipating a drop, will be looking to short however with war waging it will probably be choppy and volatile

What top was that? There's been a lot of anticipation re the big drop, dramatic fall etc, for months now, but $100.00/barrel is what it is, can't see any reason why it should fall off the cliff all of a sudden now, I doubt whether you would either. Was a good buy from $30.00, and I stand by that. Having said that, anything's possible I guess. Gold cash still doing its own thing, as unprofitable as it may have been for some, in comparison.

I cant believe smart money were actually increasing price to 10530, damaging economy and helping the monster to achieve his targets.
Another shocker for Gazprom, sunk over 80%, from 800 to 81.
