The Forex Breakout Direction Indicator has been created by Away From Keyboard Forex for day traders to take advantage of the volatility of breakouts, when a currency pair has been trading within a set range over a set period.

The indicator will display if the currency pair is in a tight range and expected direction of the future breakout.

Each signal is displayed with entry, stoploss and target price values.

Away From Keyboard Forex trades the Forex Breakout Direction Indicator with rules which we follow, together with strict money management and good risk to reward ratio in order to make a set target of 1-3% daily account growth.

Only to be used on the MT4 trading platform, on any currency pair with spreads not greater then 2 pips.

Welcome to the Forex Breakout Direction Indicator & EA

Orginally created by us, Away From Keyboard Forex, in 2016 we have been working to bring this indicator and EA back for the MT4 platform.

We would like you to join us, in our trading log and encourge you to download the Demo Indicator on post 1 to try for yourself.

Our trading day must always follow a forex strength and weakness indicator.

We use our own AFK CSi indicator, but any decent Forex Strength and Weakness indicator will do.

We have 5 levels of strength and weakness

+ Strong
- Strong
Flat
- Weak
+ Weak

3rd rule before we trade,

We don't trade any Forex Pair where there is RED news before 5pm GMT.

Nice trade on the EURGBP this morning. TP 1 and TP2 hit. EA moved the stoploss to breakeven, so now just to wait this one out

What is the blue box on the chart?
The Forex Breakout Direction Indicator & EA System trades the Europe open session. The blue "Range" box is the Asian trading session. This is set to 00:00 to 07:00 GMT. In the settings, you can customise your own range box time to create your own unique breakout trading system.
When the range box ends at 07:00 GMT, we are looking to trade "breakouts" of increase volume and volatility in the opening of the Forex Europe session. The largest active trading session in the world.

What is the "ADR Max", "ADR" and "ADR Advice"?
ADR in forex means "Average Daily Range" which means on average how many pips does the currency pair move per day.
Forex breakouts work best, when the currency pair has low movement, then 'breaks out' at pace in the desired direction.
If the ranging period goes over the ADR max figure, then the ADR Advice will show "NO TRADE"
The ADR MAX figure will calculate at the start of the range box time.
The ADR figure will update in real time has the range box is traded, and end when the range box session has ended.

Yeah we do. We are just in the final days of bug testing the EA ourselves.

We are hoping for traders to test the indicator this week, gain some feedback, whilst we write and publish a PDF document on the trading rules and system. The EA will be publish together with the PDF

Away From Keyboard Forex

Just to clairfy, the EA is not it's own stand-alone EA system.

The EA trades information from the Forex Breakout Direction Indicator.

Built for traders to set and forget, and able to be AFK (Away From Keyboard)

Traders can open the charts, look at trading opportunities, apply the EA to the chart, which will then set the pending orders, take profit and stoploss levels at the right breakout time, providing the trading conidtions are met within the indictaor.

Todays setup and trade was on EURCHF

Morning rountine was

Check if there was RED news on EUR or CHF no = ok to trade
Sell signal given on Forex Breakout Direction Indicator
CHF gaining in strength
EUR gaining in weakness

TP1 and TP2 hit early, banking 58.1 pips

Stoploss set at breakeven, currently 76 pips in profit

No valid setups today.

EURCHF did meet the setups, as per above post -
no red news on EUR or CHF
EUR getting weaker
CHF getting stronger

But, the Entry and TP2 lines are inbetween a strong support line, as shown on the PZ_SupportResistance Indicator

We wil leave the EURCHF trade from yesterday, as the stoploss as been moved to breakeven.

Today we would hopefully hit TP3 & TP4 levels, or get stopped out

One thing which we try had to do, with our Forex Breakout System is getting in into a good trade.

But, we try even harder to keep you out of a bad trade.

Example, with our no valid setup's today, using our RED news rule, currency strength / weakness rule and not trading near key areas of support & resistance, if a trader did take a EUR/CHF sell trade today, it would of ended up in a loss

Lot of traders trade breakouts on Cable (GBPUSD)

Our built in Range Filter which advises not to Trade saved us today from getting stopped out if we traded GBPUSD today.

We also have Range Filter turned on and wait for the 2 green ticks for ADR advice and Trending Advice
