{quote} {quote} {quote} Facts there from ICT videos! I just love gold so much. Caught the same one and indeed, dropped back as fast as it came up. Just had to wait one more day with gbp news as trigger. Added back into shorts as it was my bias with idea to fill Imbalances from Wednesday push. Only thing i regret is I should have trailed the SL instead of taking so much partials, I really thought we gonna get one more retracement but well.. You live You learn. Profit is profit after all. I was too focused to get that 10% in a week and still ended...

Yipikaye!! Gold came back to show some more LOVE! Cant believe it still .. this time I was more prepared than ever .. 9,9% turned into 19% like nothing. Trade lasted about 1h. They came back to pick up all these orders from Frankfurt/London session.
It was 90 pip move but I managed to bang 140 pips out of it by really loading it up but still following 1-2% risk parameters! Taking partials & then scaling back in at better price while moving SL (in profit after first major BOS).

Im still practising these methods & saving it into my trading concept. Getting really familiar with one pair price action and mastering its moves. I plan to trade gold for the next 2022 every day, same time, same sessions so why not right?
Gonna save it into my study concept, but if anyone cares then Il leave some stuff here too. I really love to ride that 1m structure especially when my favourite patterns plays out inside key level in confluence with session open & news .. comon cant get any more better.

Pay attention How patiently I wated till I added my first position back into the game. I waited 8 hours for that, for 1 wick close (Liquidity grab)! As soon as the price closed wick (Liq. grab confirmed) todays high I knew we gonna ride this thing back down and the action begun.. first position in right minute after NYSE showed me that bearish volume. 5m & 1m detailed chart below.

this is my own notes that i had made from ICT youtube channel. do not take it as good.
your interpretation may be different from mine. so go check out the multi time frame trading method.
he always want you to make your own notes, instead of relying on other people's notes. you learn best this way . you will need to see his charts anyway.

make your own notes. make your own notes. make your own notes.

2022 ICT Mentorship Episode 2

Begin with weekend analysis:

W1 - Before a new trading week begins get a read on what the next W1 candle is going to do – higher or lower, without trying to predict the close of W1 candle. Just to anticipate what level the market is likely to draw to. So as to get a bias direction for the week.

D1 - Look for swing high and swing low where liquidity lies. If we are looking for lower prices, the expectation is every short term low there is going to be sell stops.

The market is going to draw to:

    1. Stops (where liquidity lies)
    2. Imbalance

H1 - Is a framework for looking at W1 range beginning from Monday midnight New York time.
Old D1 high low is where liquidity lies and where price is going to draw to.
Market consolidates creating short term high and low Buy stops are resting above short term high and sell stops are resting below short term low.
Market trades down initially and takes out sell stops. Why? This is to induce shorts so as to engineer liquidity. Then it runs against those traders who short and those who had already shorted from the high. The market then driven higher and attack the buy stops liquidity pool. That gives an influx of willing buyers at a high price which is the perfect counter party to smart money traders that want to sell at high price.

M15 - Before there is any significant price move of any magnitude, generally there is going to be a stop hunt above the equal highs.

M1/2/3 - Look for Break in Market Structure, then short when price retraces to fair value gap (imbalance). If you do not expect price to run to the objective of old D1 low on the same day, TP below fib 50 around sell stops with imbalance.

With sound money management, you can make a living out of this. No need for big moves. Go for the low hanging fruit and the easiest target.
This foundation will be built on in the next episode.

it is the first time he went in to ltf and entries, yet has not touched fvgs and its usage why he was looking lower prices on nasdaq it was th fvg pressure the displacement on sell side which he dont wanna discuss.... Except seasonal tendencies which he mentioned.

Starting from the weekly, for that reason i have started journaling oocasionally weekly candle in terms of high low ranges as per the weekly average Adr, and in days diving ito day to day at

what really surprised me was that he enters on m1 to m3 time frames.
another thing is that i did not look at BOS as in a 3 candles fractal break. although he mentioned fractal in 3 daily candles.
normally BOS i know is at swing high swing low.

it's just like panning for gold. at the end of the day if you can gather one or two small pieces of nuggets it would have been worth it. sometimes nothing at all.
remember, the pre-requisites of successful traders:
- patience to learn and wait for the right moment set up, disciplined to execute, focus on doing both.
the meat is in episode 2. he just let out so much to the public .........

as with most things, there are exceptions initially.
for example, kids with rich billionaire parents, large enterprises being passed on to the next generations, crowns passed on from emperors.....
without discipline, it's a free for all, obtaining things too easily and discarded soon after, do not value what they already have, always looking for new play toys.
how long can the wealth last? collapsed in the end. history repeats itself.

those were coming from external sources, being blown here and there by circumstances outside of yourself.
if things are generated from internal sources, you cultivate those good qualities you worked hard to obtain. they won't be lost easily because you do it for yourself and you want to keep on improving. you can battle on in bad weathers.

you can think 'out of the box' but don't live 'out of the box' all the time not realizing who you are, what you really want in the end.
build up your internal qualities and always go back to look inside of yourself. your source of strength developed from internally. like 'Inthebox'

i am being philosophical .......... well you asked for it.
