Forget about FTMO. Are you greedy ? Want to get rich tomorrow ?
Take the FTMO fee 140 € 10 x it and the 10 x it again
You have done it before you can do it again.

Its easier to you make money with your own rules than bend under the FTMO rules / restrictions.

that is actually not a bad idea. I will sleep on it.

when it comes to FTMO, I would like to think it is going to be a fun experience for me. I don’t know if I would like it or not till I am there.

I was funded by Topsteptrader its like FTMO. Wanted to get quick rich
I toke too many combines ( Evaluations ) before I got funded. Traded appox 6 months but finally failed and I was let go.
Final result ca 10k total profit vs 11k total loss. Best I was up 3k

Now I trade CFDs and making little pocket money. Getting very slowly rich.

thanks for sharing Mandariin. Did you feel any difference compared to trading with your own money?

After my last 10 attempts trading its demo, I notice my style of trading may hit its DD requirement easily. I am doing some adjustments at my end and trying to find the balance.

I see ftmo would be an excellent source of additional income. I see potential. I'll give it a try and maybe document my progress along the way.

Not a big difference. Maybe bit more responsible with other people money.
Yes there can be potential but think 10 attemps at least 140 € is 1400 € okay account.

Keep doing what you're doing with the trials and you won't have to spend hundreds of dollars on evaluations.
You don't go in for professional tests or exams without first practicing your ass out till you're sure you have what it takes.
You don't want to take these evaluations while hoping to scale through by luck....

Based on your results, you don't seem to have any problems hitting the target but your risk is wild and maybe a bit loose. you should never have to go anywhere close to your max daily loss at any point in time, especially on a 200k evaluation... that's just reckless, and not something one would be confident in.

Scale back your risk a little, maybe try reaching target much later than too soon...
Only thing worse than losing an evaluation is passing one and then losing the funded account because you only got lucky in the evaluation.

I believe in the real deal, we will still be trading a demo account, not the real money. It's up to FTMO how much money he is willing to invest into our demos.
I pay $1000 to trade on a demo and get paid trading that demo which is quite interesting.

I'd like to congratulate you on your excellent results.
I also want to compliment you on your transparency. Not all traders post bad results. Congratulations.
I checked the trials that failed and saw that in many the reason was exceeding the Max Daily Loss. I don't want to teach the master (I'm a forex rookie), but couldn't you use an expert or an indicator to close trades before the daily limit is exceeded?
