I'm 4 contracts short on the crude mini contract. Still building. Will post my analysis this weekend.

You could be right, tho I would doubt it. What is your stop out? WTI 71.25 as I type, with 71.70 and 72.45 as short term resis, longer term support 68.60, as I see it.

I won't know my stop until I know my entry price, but I'm aiming for about $80. That'd give me a $10 loss or a $20 win.

Fair enough, and good luck., bearing in mind if you were to be stopped your next trade would need to be at least $10 in profit, just to break even.

something akin to a "new pandemic" would have to occur to get oil down to $50. is there anything ur seeing on the horizon to make this occur?

I got hit with a margin violation and IB closed my crude position. I'll have to jump back in when I exit the positions sucking up my margin.

Looks like we might touch $74 which'll make a better entrance anyway. I need to get around to posting my (fundamental) analysis, will do soon.

It wasn't margin actually, I was holding contracts too close to expiration. Fuckin noobs.

interesting start to the week. a nice fall at the open then a big rebound followed by another drop. would be funny if the market was dead the rest of the week

Yes closed at 74.50 prior the long weekend, I would say little doubt re 80.00 and beyond.

it got pretty close to $77 on my charts earlier this morning. may not get over $80 by years end but seems heel bent on ending the year "Bullish"
