Can you please show us some actual meaningful examples of 26EMA divergent with RSI indi? You did mentioned this type of divergent before but I found rare example for reference....

Not sure what this question is.

The 26EMA is the same as the 50% level of the RSI the difference is that with the EMA it is a sloping line whereas with the RSI it is a horizontal line. BUT it is still the same thing.

So there are some forms of divergence we can see even without using the RSI.

I have no idea what comparing the EMA with the RSI is all about let alone trying to find a divergence there.
I didn't see any form of signal for this current long so I guess I missed out.
Oh now I see on the 5 min there was a tiny bullish HD I missed.

What timeframe divergences and pairs are you watching for?
I thought you were looking at H4/H1 only.

So for M5, would it be M5/M1?
How many pips is your target for an M5 divergence?

Hi Alan, I know I am being pretty stupid here but how to you show the high/low chart history on the RSI. I have tried 3 ind's one close, one high amd one low all on the same chart but this is not correct, cannot see any obvious setting but know I am missing something obvious, any help gratefully appreciated

It is not a question of how many pips I target it is a question of how many pips there are to target.

So we trade to the average swing level that pays us. Look at this 15 min below and see we have several targets.

I didn't take a trade though, I watched the cricket.

Well it made 50% of the move upwards then faltered. Anybodys guess where it might be heading now?

Here is a typical HOOK move.

The things to note are:-

It is a retest of the bear div.
In this case it was also a HD
The move is usually quite fast

When you are looking at the chart, do you take in consideration every ema break or do you focus only on major ema swing levels?

I look at all the swings but if the targets are too small then I would not trade them.

Not too bad today, pretty windy the last few days upwards of 70k/hour (Storm Barra to give it it's name) so lost a few branches from our trees, I'm on the coast so not much snow as the salt in the air keeps it at bay. Jan/Feb are usually the worse so will know if we've had a bad winter after that, fingers crossed...
