For all the world to see
Kinda went with principle one here - wide spread down closing on its lows followed by an up bar (not as wide as I would like) locking out traders.
Shakeout - markup thinking We shall see

2 mini lots here is the risk profile

That is a risky trade ... there is still potential to go down, keep in mind most of the trader here trade lower than 4H chart ... i may be wrong ...

I refrained from answering this post, but those who did pretty much nailed it.

ISSUE #1: You've heard this a million times, and you will hear it a million more- the 1M timeframe is not an ideal timeframe to try to trade !!!! The M1 by its very nature is very "whipsawey". That is to say, there are a lot of breakouts that turn out to be fakeouts. So if you're going to trade the M1, you have to get used to the fact that you are going to take more losses than a trader trading the H1 or the Daily.

ISSUE #2: It appears to me that the Williams%R (36) goes above -50 around 15:10-15:20 hrs and stays that way for the remainder of the time shown on the chart. Therefore, after that time you should not be taking a single short trade. It doesn't matter what the m1 says unless it is in alignment with the M5.

ISSUE #3: How are you drawing your Trigger Number Matrix? The Trigger Number Matrix becomes the playing field. You need to understand it.

ISSUE #4: You must understand that tops and bottoms are more often a process than a single event. Yes, you will see some "v" tops and "v" bottoms, but they are the exceptions, not the rule. VSA talks about building a cause. 1 high volume bar isn't necessarily enough to build a cause.

No, this is not a re-post. I've said these things before, but you continue to ignore them for some reason.

I don't like all the indicators on your chart, but you do you. But it appears like you have at least two MAs on the chart. The purple one is probably the 20 and the lite blue the 50.

So the question is, why are you trading short when the 20 MA is ABOVE the 50 MA? Only go long when the 20 MA is above the 50 MA and price is above the 20 MA. Only go short when the 20 MA is below the 50 MA and price is below the 20 MA.........

I let the trade run overnight while snoozing - and the trade was apparently snoozin as well haha.....

Dropped to monitor this on the 30m - will cut my loss if I see that 5am bar not holding up well - looks like there is indeed overhead supply but there appears to be buying in there as well -

Hence my #1 mental problem in trading - Impatience - Instead of holding all night - I simply could have waited for a 4H test of the bar I saw as a NS bar (the bar after the UHV climax down)-
But - I know my problems and my limits (and more important my risk) - so if that 30M (5am) bar cannot hold I will close for a tiny loss and see if that test comes through and re-enter.


EDIT - stopped out - I tightened my stop as I got impatient waiting -

It appears the 3am HV bar (30M) is being tested - I moved my stop underneath it (the red horizontal) - If this fails I am out for a tiny loss

AUDJPY 2 beautiful 30M upthrusts overnight -If I see an upthrust or another SOW show in the green marked box I will sell in there


Follow up (editing this post) in hindsight I missed the trade - I almost clicked on that up bar to sell when it closed but the volume was too high for my liking.
Had it been lower volume (ND) I would have sold.

yes, this short wasn't after cross. I took short because they made move down and a test of this 2 mas from down, and i count for retest and cross down. Thats right

The answer will always be - stop trading real money because you are not ready or not in synch with what you are trying to do.
A trader should never ask that question with live money. Ever. You can argue this until you are blue in the face - If a trader asks "What should I do?" - STOP TRADING LIVE MONEY.

I have live traded - tick charts - 30 second charts - 1 min charts - Renko - Kagi - Heiken Ashi - 2 min - 3 min - 5 min - (you get the point) - Daily, Weekly (not monthly)
I have even traded live just using a DOM - (did not go so well)

In my EXPERIENCE trading LIVE - if you are not a professional scalper you will get whipsawed to death anything under 5min (even at 5min its very hard to time the market you need to be very very good)

If you are asking the question "What should I do?" -
Stop using real money ASAP
Use 2 time frames at a minimum
If you "have to" be on the lower time frame charts
Use 30M as your signal and 10M as your main chart -
Only trade if you see a signal on the 30M chart and use the 10M chart for entries and managing.

On those lower time frames unless you are a computer or a world class 1% scalper - you will lose.

Yes I am aware it was/is a risky trade. Anytime you see a UHV WB close like that its risky - but if I manage my risk tight and have a reason for entering then I know my limits -
I tend to enter when bars are up (sell) or when bars are down (long) - for the most part - not all the time of course - like a nice upthrust in a down move I will sell all day long.

For time frames - I use the 4H as a base generally - since I am in the U.S. I will enter near the end of the day on a 4H bar and let errrr ride overnight (with very small risk of course)

During the U.S. mornings I will use the 4H as a base and drop to the 30M for a signal (sometimes the 10M) and day trade there.

This is one of the greatest threads in the history of trading - so much knowledge is shared and so many different trading styles are present (all based on VSA of course) -

EURNZD short - 2 lots quick trade hopefully

4H is up but struggling in this area
30M shows upthrust action where previous rejection occurred

Stop above the upthrust
Taking profit down where there are multiple 4H closes clumped together
Against the HTF trend but its a small trade.

I am trading at demo, because I had lost some money on real. Im not ready to trade live.

Take one of the bad trades -
Ask yourself (and you need to be honest) - Why did I take this trade?

Then look at where you went wrong - you need to constantly look at each trade and dissect it and understand
A. Why I took the trade
B. What went wrong/well with this trade
C. What will I do different next time
D. Repeat this over and over and adjust
