MT4 MetaEditor not found

I'm using MT4 version 4.00 build 1350. Now I'm not able to use MetaEditor. I uninstalled and reinstalled MT4 again, I do not have Antivirus in my PC. Nothing helps.

Hey, see if you have it and/or can launch it from the MT4 Programs files (x86) folder.

It is but it does not start from Program files also.

Yeah that is disappointing.. ok the other thing to try might be to get the installer from another broker and try it with that. hope you find a fix.

Follow this thread, run the terminal.exe files from that link, you won't lose anything

1.- Download a new instance of MetaTrader and don't run any MT4 instance.
2.- After that, go to your old installation folder and delete that metaeditor.exe file.
3.- Copy the metaeditor.exe file of the new installation folder and paste it in the old installation folder.
4.- Check now if the old MT4 recognizes MetaEditor.
5.- If it worked, you can now uninstall the new installation and keep going with that old one.
