Update: GA pulling back now. I also have a trade in on the GY at 150.33, waiting to see if it can make a meaningful move through 150.00, and I'm watching the $CAD for an entry.
GA stop hit for -30 pips. I took +53 pips on the GY. Now waiting to see if the GA presents another opportunity to reload the first trade, but it moved back underneath the gray line with some force...
Update on the GA. The A$ is really pulling back on it's down move overnight, and am waiting to see if that pullback runs out of steam before thinking about another shot at the GA.
Summary of trading today: GA tried and failed to move north, so no position was developed there. I took a total of -39 pips on this pair, but in all honesty, was up 30 on the first trade, and over 50 on the second trade, as I tried to get something going on that pair. On the plus side, I am up over 80 pips on the GY. Considering the GA dollar value is actually 70% of the actual total, the math for today goes something like this: .7(39) + 82 = 55 pips. Not a very good day but it could have been much better.
Giving the Ga another try. Been in it for an hour with entry at the least risky spot I could find, and stop is now at B/E. Limit is around the -.786 fib extension.
I am taking 41 pips on the GA and calling it a night. I looked at the A$ and it's run out of gas sitting at a ST low, and I think the G$ has gone sideways. So, against my better judgement, I'll take what I can get and see how things develop in the morning. In summary, this trade was entered at 1.8623 and taken out at 1.8664. it's 9:15 PM PST.
