I started to sell @ 1823 with SL being 1829, will add later if bear pressure continues and we get constant failures of making new highs

it is slowing down a lot, as in the past and as a habit it could repeat the pattern of the bullish candle that closes in the day as just a spike to knock down SL and take liquidity to go down to hell, among other things, the 1750 zone remains not closed

When everyone talking about how much high it can get then price administrators(interbankers blah blah) will see how much sell is cut so they can lower down the price with buy stops and SL. This is so far gold/other currency's liquidity.
I clearly see the price is moving to 1835 area + it could hunt till 1855 zone. AND 1760 is not closed yet as DXY down now. Don't assume DXY is reached yearly high already.

Judging from Monday’s FED speakers, gold traders still have more time to enjoy the upside. Gold moves higher 3 days in a row on inflationary concerns.
Even though October’s data for the inflation came in lower than the previous month, it still indicated that higher inflation was affecting consumers as prices for energy, food, and rent continued to spike over 5%. With inflationary pressures likely to remain high for the months ahead, this could be highly supportive of gold prices moving past the highs gold traded to at the beginning of September, which is where we currently have our first level of technical resistance, at $1835.
The next major move will be determined by trader reaction to $1839.00. This could be a potential trigger point for an aggressive upside.

If the downtrend starts I'll be in luck. But the joke is, I always gets kick from luck, it works for me rarely in very important situation. See, I don't got that much hope for a down trend.

1840 could be reached today, or 1810, but 1840 is more likely i think

Was stopped out, shorted 1825.4 and closed for 10 pips, seems price wants to all SLs above 1834 first and then drop

Wholesale prices was 8.6% increase in October, this is bad for consumers. But mainly, people are concerned about higher prices which is got attention already by fed, Federal Reserve Bank President James Bullard, said that - inflation appears to be broader than is sometimes depicted.
Today CPI will be published , If it expected 5.3% then we should see some more bullish move or whatever it is always 50/50 to trade safely

4H closed with an engulfing candle although it did not break previous candle's low. Gotta see if this is the start of a correction lower. If it is, I would really expect a test of 1807 at minimum.
A 1 pip gain is better than a 1 pip loss.

Im in favour for bears today, price reached to 1832 with very weak momentum and was pushed down, we might get one more attempt and I think it will be the last, if bulls had the momentum to push through 1834 then expect some fire works and 1848 will be expected.

My expected scenario is another attempt to 1830 (maybe even 1828/9) with weak momentum followed with a crash in price for 20-30$
