This has been a great morning for our style of trading. My M15 chart showed sideways action and M1 a narrow pre XO range with the German Flash data due 30 mins after XO. Our alerts are potential HLs / LHs on M1 and trades were as shown with exits via SLs at whole numbers (integers) of 5 or 10 Again the first hour after XO has been very profitable and finishes my morning's trading {image}

Whole current week DAX CASH INDEX stayed below 1% daily range, even less on last wed. Volatiliy compression is clear, as prices are not allowed to fall, due to US markets that everyday get a new ATH. In short, it's a difficult market to trade, and prices can stall for hours in strict ranges, going nowhere. For today 15520/15480 the range in place on DAX CASH INDEX, and frankly I have not will to trade in these lethargic conditions........ Waiting 9CET to see if prices will fall below 400 or rise around 600 on possible erratic , illogic and wild...

Busy week in sight: German IFO data this morning, then in US Facebook earnings On tomorrow US House data + GOOGLE and MICROSOFT earnings Next thursday ECB meeting + APPLE and AMAZON earnings. US Markets were able to hit new ATH, while European seem shy and not so convinced. Buy on sell off during the day and close at rallies it seems the only decent strategy in this ping pong market, imho, at least for now! For today 15530 zone for DAX CASH INDEX = 15515 zone for DAX FUTURES the key.
