Greetings MetaTrader,

I would like to change and add some features to an indicator that I am currently using. In my humble opinion, They aren't complicated. But I don't know if this thread is still active.

The indicator used is UP and Down Volume. It changes the color of the volume bar to the color of the candle (MT4 platform)

What I would like to change is;

  1. If the candle is closes in the upper or the lower 30% of its spread, then color it based on where it closes not just the color of the candle.
  2. If it closes in the area between (middle third), Third color that I can chose.



What I would like to add is;
- Shortcut buttons (ON/OFF) for:

  1. Fix scale
  2. Period Separator
  3. Trade Levels
  4. Candle Timer inside the volume indicator area.

Edit: One addition: This one is a long stretch..
Drawn objects are automatically set for the current time frame ONLY. Say you have a horizontal and vertical lines on the H4, they wont be seen on the M15.

I will check it out this evening.
Screengrab is same as screenshot, or PrintScreen, to capture an image. In my case, to capture the image for when alert is triggered, so I have a visual representation of the alert.

indicator repaints a lot. please see the charts below. it showed a cross of blue and red line after the candle was complete on 1 min chart. just by changing the time frame to 5 min and immediately back to 1 min, the cross shifted to -2 candles.

i hve marked the cross with green vertical line when the candle closed.
any indicator which appears too good to be true on charts is a 100% repainter. this is what i have observed in my short trading experience.

this is how i check for repainting. note the change in contour of the blue line after just changing the time frame to 5 min and back to 1 min chart. also note that the indicator does not print in live candle but prints after the candle is closed.

Hello, would it be possible to add a few things to this pivot point indicator?

1. Add an On/Off button to show/hide all lines

2. Add a Quarterly pivot point TimeFrame

3. Add a Yearly pivot point TimeFrame

4. Ability to turn off resistance and support levels, so only pivot lines are displayed. I can change the resistance and support colors to none, but the labels still print.

5. Add an option to have past pivot lines that have not been touched by price, continue to extend until it price touches that line. For example, Pivot line from Monday is formed, price only goes down on Monday and Tuesday and never touches Monday's pivot level. On Wednesday, price goes back up and touches Monday's pivot level. So instead of Monday's pivot line only printing for Monday, it extends for Mon, Tues, and Wed when that level was finally touched by price again. Hope that makes sense. And if too intensive, not a very necessary feature.

Since i was working on it long ago (different but required formations) so i know a little about it,its origin and the way how it act - dont forget mostly "Cycle" (if not all) repaints,mislead,they looks pretty in first appearance but with the time pass they leaving price ahead or back - but you knows better about your expectations
PS: For better (in a lot of ways) cycle creating try using stochastic smaller periods - means form it the way it looks like cycles

I am looking for a Box Breakout EA with the following parameters:

Inputs
Breakout Box Time: Time range to be broken out
Trading Time: Time range during which trades will be opened. (Only stop orders will be set)
Buffer from within the range in pips (positive or negative): Amount of pips before of after the High or Low of the box to set the Stop Order.
Trigger from without the range in pips (positive or negative): Amount of pips the price has go inside the box to set a new Stop Order.
Lot size: Fixed/Risk percentage.
Fix lot:
Risk percentage:
Enable long trades: Self explanatory
Enable short trades: Self explanatory
Number of Long reentries: Self explanatory
Number lof Short reentries: Self explanatory
SL: Number of pips
TP: Number of pips
Magic Number:

That is not repainting, it is recalulating. Repainting as I understand it, means that the crosses or signals change historically whilst the chart is live. I have watched this for hours and it does not repaint.

simple expert advisor.. but I haven't tested it: neither on demo, nor on real...
file HMA Trend.mq4 = it's parent indicator = put it in Indicators folder!

These people seem to write some quite comprehensive code.
(I use their Stochastics Cross indicator, and am very happy with it.)

Hi Sir, Could you help me, modification of "Fiji_Trend" Indicator.

In Fiji_Trend indicator, trend will go up or Down, in the case 1st and 2nd arrow after 3rd arrow must be reverse arrow, Like in this order, every two arrows after third arrow should be come reverse, in up trend and also in down trend, this order repeat continuously, this kind of indicator need, could you modify the code.
