Regarding post 48800 - these are the simple scalping rules on the attachment (indicator previously posted) - and the indicator does not repaint as I thought originally. It is too good to be true - for day traders and scalpers!

Looks like standard stuff.
Place the indicator on GBPUSD 30mins, as per screenshot, and let me know which one it most looks like.

The upper window is simply RSI overlaid on MACD.
The lower window is MACD, with RSI applied to the (Previous Indicators) MACD data.

First window - i needed the indicator so that i can add alerts

I already have alerts, and I can have them sent to me in the form of an email.
It sends all the relevant data: FX Pair,TimeStamp, Price, Reason for alert, etc.

I thought it would be really cool if instead of me having to open the chart to get a visual, if the alert sent me a screengrab.

Reason is, I get many alerts, but not all of them are valid, but I cant know that until I open the chart on my laptop.
A screengrab tool triggered by an alert would be pretty nifty.

If you don't want to write one, that's all fine.
If you could point towards something close to this, I can work on it myself.

The above is purely as "an example":

in the code, generically speaking,
01: you create an input field: "SendEmailAlert"
02: write the code that formats the data to be sent in the body of the email: marked as "OWD01"
03: make sure you set up your platform to be able to send emails: from MT4: "Tools; Options; Email
04: another example of writing the code to format an email to be sent (from a different EA, but just to show a "prettier" example)

Hi obiwandax. You can use code screenshot same this. and What do you mean " if the alert sent me a screengrab ". you want to sent picture to email ?

does anyone have an mt4 indicator that can provide sound alerts and pop up window when the current price crosses 1 pips higher or 1 pips lower than a horizontal line.
sound alert can be set.
