another close below 1571.. this will continue, until bulls can take 1585 + close, Even then, 1592 93 98 and a few others off decent R. Or bears take -1555 etc. My money is on the bears. Once at 1492, That may change a little. At least till below 1492 with some close. I do expect this.

Bad? The numbers missed sure. But the unemployment rate was lower and wages were up. We had a hurricane. That could attribute to some of the miss in the number. So its not as bad as it looks. I think its rate hike positive.

The weekly time frame has 200 day MA at current levels also.... its a fight to be above or below for the week...

Important weekly close no doubt

I think; that 1584 R may be med tough. Its defiantly not a large bounce. But it has held in under 1593 and 1598. I have 2 areas here. I see the 15min is bullish. It has butted its head against the 30 min. Earlier at 1579, now at 1577. I have 1584 as a R bulls need to close above. Normally that may be enough. Now it may just be chop. I have more R that has held here since 1820 (1587). Plus the1593 and 1598. I also have; 1609. None of these are 100 pips from the low. Added with the COT, trend and year number at 1598. I have to think this will drop. If it had reached 1492 and bounced here. I may have given more probability to a further bounce. With time your 15 min and 5 min will rise if pa hangs around here. If it breaches 1598 with some closes. I will have to re-evaluate. I'm not saying It cant wick to 1598 or 1593 and even a little higher. If it starts closing -1577, 1584, 1587 after. in a hot stove touch reject. It has some room to reach lower. Near 1492 is probably has many retail buyers. Some profit taking near 1492 may have happened Friday. It had the NFP cover to help. Yes expectations in the unemployment number were lower. But that's not what the Fed looks at. The Fed looks at the rate. Its less than 5%. That historically was full employment. Plus wages did rise. Inflation may be temp like they said. That is not what wages, food, housing, and energy are showing. 1492 area is a support area, as well as a precise attraction point.
