What you are showing me here is the 5 min chart with some lines on it. I have no idea what you are trying to resolve.

Look at my 1 hour and 5 min in tandem and you should see that we are trading above the average on the hour so we look to find LONG trades and drop to the 5 min chart to determine the entries for these.

By just looking at the 5 min chart it makes it difficult to determine the main direction. We need to know if we are trading or scalping, what our targets are and when to hedge for protection.

The bear divs all failed to cross and find support below the EMA indicating price HH's are on the cards.

Failing divs are very important they show the opposition is strong so we go with the strength.

Sorry because I forgot to post the H1 chart, I recognized the Bull support there and that's why I was expecting a long order.
Please let me know how to get 3 entries in this trade.

OK it is all down to tactics here to make your daily required profit, I hope you agree.

So lets assume the 1 hour is indicating...SHORT and you correctly entered on the 5 min in the short direction. You load in your three trades short moving the stop appropriately.

You see trouble and correctly hedge all the shorts, good.

Once you have the hedge with a stop at BE you can close all the shorts and bank the profit.

Now you are watching your hedge trade at the maximum lots and again you see trouble so you can now hedge the hedge and when you get the stop to BE you can close the first hedge and bank the profits.

Now you are again fully loaded into the short direction which was your original intention. You have already made profits so you can deduct this from your target price and be done and dusted in short time.

Hope that makes sense. The reason for the hedge is that it is the safest entry you can possibly make and because it is fully loaded with lots you make a tidy profit from it.

So it is a matter of LOAD, HEDGE,HEDGE AND CONTINUE DOING THIS UNTIL THE PROFIT IS MADE.

I started learning your system from 1 month ago. I have a few questions for today's session, hope you can guide me
1. first entry is made when hd m5 is successful, or should we enter when price is bottoming, because i been stopped out in BE
2.Is ABCD correct, C=50% AB, and we used closed sma1 to calculate

No worries I am done for the day.

I loaded long and took hedges short keeping hold of my longs.

I made my money with the hedges and made it again with the longs and have now closed all.

Here are my results today, currently +25pips. I know that my entries are full of problems. I am still learning as a student. So, if you don't mind, could you please give me advice and post your trade.

My all entry.
Entry 3rd after have target ab=cd.
note: when price approaches ema h1 it is very difficult to trade it can go in two directions and hedge orders need to be opened to ensure profit.

Dear Mr Alan. This is my trade in Newyork
I have a few questions that I would like you to help me answer.
1. If i hedge in regdiv bull at EMA H1, at what point in the picture should I close my sell order, please make a note for me
2. Bull support m5 look at breakout when the sma closed under it, but another Bullsupport is formed, is this valid?

just my vieuw; dont think your ABCD is right cause the A and C are on the same side of the ema; also think your m5 bus is at the low of te wick of the first pullback candle after price crossed ema.

Looking at your chart it seems you are doing the right things but you were stopped out by the dreaded hook. This is not a bad thing it just provides another opportunity to get back in the saddle going long.

Don't worry too much about your entries direction and stops are far more important.

Your AB = CD was fine but you have not included the + or - aspect drawn here for you on your chart.

Yep how often have I said trading at the EMA is a very bouncy affair. The higher time frames should be consulted for direction.

Nice chart reading here. Pity you did not hedge the bottom, the daily chart was telling us price is trying for the EMA above the current price so our bias is long in the main.

1) So had you hedged the short at the div level you show you would close the shorts when you get you long hedge stop to BE and this would make the profit for you.

2) Don't ignore any divs you can always apply the two bar test.

Remember signals and direction are given at the 1 hour, entries are made on the lower time frame signals to limit risk.

A couple of things here.

If you wait for confirmation the div is working to make an entry more often than not the retest we call the HOOK will stop you out. You should enter on the signal with your 1st and smallest entry so your risk is small since your provisional stop is just below the div.

An AB =CD is usually taken from the swings high or low A is always the Apex, B is always the Bottom and C is where the Contest is leaving us with D the Destination. We also include the wicks in these measurements. Also be aware the 50% of the target destination giving you a double top, this is what AB = CD and ABCD's have in common.

On you 5min chart you have the bull support not break on the valley whereas it should be on the bottom wick of that same valley. Think about it, this is where the bears failed so this is the bull support.
