In a sense, yes. But how to is, for me, more important. And of course it depends on your trading style.

heres one i trade the emini nasdaq futures and use a 40 second chart. I trade from the open 930 to 1020 am. I look for a pin bar followed by a thrust bar and the trade the pullback to the body of the pinbar. I have a 41 target and a 40 stop. In the event the whole candle is more that 40 ticks for longs come off bottom 40 for entry via versa for shorts. When price goes up 13 ticks stop moves to +1 when up 34 stop moves to 30 when up 38 it locks in 33. So you either get +1 +30 +33 or +40. win rate 90%. ! win a day is all you need Heres a few charts

.... But this approach will not suit the lazy, complacent, greedy, impatient or immature person.

If someone trades to generate a primary income source, then it requires something of the person that you don't get or see in a person who does not. A certain determination that hobbyists and people "playing" find hard to fathom or struggle to understand why someone would go "that far just to trade".
