A very old version of the EA. The current is 5.5. This has of course Lot input. It is included with the current Mt5.
There is no reason to change the old version.

Anyone can help me create this combination EA?

Strategy1:You can choose which day/time of the week you open a position and which day/time of the week you close it.
Strategy2:Also which day of the month a position is opened and how many days later it is closed.

TP/SL can be set percentage-wise based on account size or based on ATR multiple.

What would be nice too is implementing a GRID/Hedge/Pyramid system based on the time range between entering and exiting the trade.

Just that simple
Hi everyone, I have a trading system that I have been using for some time. I am suppose to open a trade in 4H TF if the first London open candle and SYMPHONIE SENTIMENTEMOTION COMBO INDICATOR colour are red red for sell and blue green for buy respectively, TP is 5 pips with no SL. But sometimes market moves a bit fast if I am a late even for a minute or two. Can someone please automate this system for me please exactly on time of the first london 4H candle close? That would be great and in return I can tell you how I reduce my losses if you like. I kindly request for everyone to please look into it for me. I don't know anything about coding.

All your time and effort here is appreciated greatly. I have attached the mq4 Trend Intensity Index file and a picture of a Eur/Usd chart. Could someone add audible and pop up alerts to the indicator for zone entry and exit. The arrows on the chart indicate zone entry and exit. Thank you. I am using this for a scalping method. The alerts would be very helpful. Thanks again.

Instead of using lagging indicators I wanted to use common market inniffciencies

STRATEGY PARAMETERS


Turnaround Tuesday : Timing position : Monday p.m. – Wednesday a.m. - FrequencyPosition : max. 1 per week 1,5 days

The research agency Evercore calculated that not having the S&P 500 in portfolio on Tuesdays, results in a decrease of the average return from 9,1% to 6,5% when going back to 1980.
Likewise Mike Bird in The Wall Street Journal writes "... since the beginning of 1980 the S&P 500’s average Tuesday gain has been 0.07% – the best of any day of the week. Remove Tuesday performances from the index over those decades, and its gain shrinks from nearly 2500% to a paltry 560%."


Pound shorter (GBP/USD) : Timing position : Tuesday a.m. – Tuesday p.m.- FrequencyPosition : 1 per week 6 hours
Attentive observers noticed that the price of the GBP/USD forex pair tends to go down on Tuesdays in the first half of the day.

Friday Gold Rush (Gold) : Timing position : Thursday p.m. – Friday p.m.- FrequencyPosition : 1 per week 1,5 days
Put simply, the gold price tends to rise before the weekend.Weekday effects on gold: Tokyo, London, and New York markets – the economists Yu, Lee and Shih conclude unequivocally "Friday shows positive and significant higher returns [on gold], ...".

End of Month (S&P 500) : Timing position : 8 days around the end of the month- FrequencyPosition : 1 per month 8 days
The 'End of Month' effect has been the subject of many scientific studies. Statistics show that stock prices, and in particular US stock prices, tend to go up during the last days and the first days of the month.

So instead of missing the first action of a move due to lagging indicators, it would be a better way to use market inefficiencies like this.
Can someone help me write a mt4 for this and backtest the best parameters for it?

Basically its Buy order Stop Loss is trail at Lower Band envelopes shift=1
, and Sell order Stop Loss is trail at Upper Band envelopes shift=1

Good morning to all!!!

I will like to mark some specific candles (next image) in Mt5 and be able to get the marked candles inside the csv file with the history data. Is it possible?

On the next image an example of the candles that I marked with lines (could be any different kind of mark. Example= arrows, points, text, etc...)

Some how be able to include in the csv file or other file, the lines / candles that I marked in a different column that allow me to have the candles (date + hour) in the csv file with the rest of the History data.

Programmers are more keen to see some proof of profitability before they are willing to code an EA for you, because time is precious for them. Well, provided that there is a kind soul who is willing to help you write the EA if someone can see the potential in this idea, I am curious any reason why you cannot backtest the EA and find the best parameters yourself, but want someone to do all the hard work for you?

a longtime now i had this, but i stopped using thinking it will work better with a buffer, since it had none
Please is it possible to add buffer in this indicator?

the alert system maybe useful because it alert on double top/bottom, but the pattern it gives is not as precise as your Zigzag

well, i never knew it would be so hard to find a vertical lines indicator. has any one coded one at all. there are a few but mostly based off intraday/week. im looking for one where it can be plotted from a date, projecting so many days ahead for the next line and the next. would be grateful if any coders have done some thing like this. thanks...
