Bad bearish candle on daily official DAX CASH INDEX data: open at 699 up to the sky and close at 573, slight above 552 low.

Done my day:+7,5+2+4+10+18+5,5+9,5+0,5+3+3=TOTAL +63 pips FDXM.
I hold only 1 FDXS 551,5 for tomorrow....probably, as I wish to check US official close later.

DAX CASH INDEX lost 1% from the official explosive open yd.
Now it's trying to hold 550 zone and to not go down towards friday's lows at 490/500 zone, and to break up 600 zone.
Stable prices above 600 could lead to a retest yd highs, but there are strong resistance above that zone.
I'm holding my FDXS 551,5 hoping for the best but expecting the worst as the Alphaville sang......

I wouldn't go as far as saying one "leads". I would merely say movements of both are correlated, meaning if something meaningful happens in one instrument something similar will happen in the other. There are always multiple scenarios of the future and I watch both instruments for hints pointing to the possible outcomes. Such hints can be price spikes or a break of a high/low or similar.

There is a 85% probability that the S&P will at least try to close a gap to the previous close in the first 60 minutes. If a gap is not closed after 90 minutes the probability of doing so later in the session is very low. I speculated on this impulse from the US and a similar move in DAX. Possible target was the low-volume node which needed to be traded again.

Of course I was too early in the market. Then at Chicago open I missed the opportunity to take 14 points of profit and had to suffer the new low. As a result I was worried and scratched, only to realize a few moments later that the original plan will work out. So I re-entered.

The image shows the trades I took. That's 34.5 point after commission from 14:00-16:15 CET. Should have hold on.

1. You're right, that's why I wrote in that specific market move, DAX leaded the recovery.
2. Thanks for make clear that color was linked to H1 Bars, I missed this point before.
3. do you meant the gap between the official open at 15:30CET and the previous day close, for US is it correct?

2. The color of the rectangles is the visualized H1 period (as noted in the top area of the chart). It's independent of the bar coloring.
