to a degree, each close above a level is slightly more bullish. But each close above, has a new R to beat. The same way on the loss of a level, Its bearish to a degree,

Don't worry about that. The US won't default on their debt payments yet. It's just political drama. The only thing that decides Dollar value is the FED and China. The bond selloff yesterday was liquidation of Evergrande holdings because they missed their offshore creditor payment. It wasn't market exuberance.

Its a lot more than that here, in hurricane country. Fema stops paying, houses wont be sold (country wide, no government mortgage insurance will be sold), venders selling to the government wont get paid, hospitals, nursing homes etc. wont get paid. Closer of government buildings and parks. Federal pay roles wont be paid (including military). In turn many dont pay their car note, cc or house note. This could be a cluster, phuck. That could lead to millions laid off, and a financial crisis. In the shadow of Chinas bank real estate problem and Coved. We could wake up in deep shit. The longer it goes on, the more it destroys the economy. This would be another man made disaster. You should worry.

The thing is, it may be good , or bad for usd. It has gone both directions in the past.

Failing to raise the debt ceiling would lead to a default. This is way different than just a shutdown. Its much more serous.

still have eu long and usdcad shorts, added usdjpy short at 110.77
