Hi all,

Does an indi or script exist that will allow me to make all my indis go invisible at the click of a button?

I use some MAs etc, and would like to be able to switch them off while I plot S/R zones etc, as it's just easier to do on a clear chart. Otherwise it means having two windows for each pair, plus any S/R lines won't copy on to my main chart.
In boxing, all the champion's results are visible. In forex, talk is cheap.

You could define different templates and apply them via those buttons.

The problem with that is that it would delete my lines when I switched between templates, which is what I'm trying to avoid. The only way around it would be to save a template for every pair I trade, and save it every time I want to go between MAs and clean... Not very quick to do.

When you use a prefix for your own painted objects your tool with the buttons could memorize them and repaint them after apply of the template.
Second way could to extend the template with the own drawn objects. This can be done via copy and insert the data (analyze how templates are saved).

Try deleting all objects with this script and then draw your trendlines before the chart refreshes.
You can also manually refresh the chart by changing timeframes and all your indicator objects will reappear with your new trendlines.

What you describe is exactly what Tradingview does

Do yourself a favor, check it out

It takes a lot for me to IGNORE you, but you can try.

Reason why MT4 is almost useless! You plot lines on one chart, go to the next chart with different pair the lines are still there making it difficult for you to work. Not sure MT5 is anyway different. Only reason i still use MT4 is b/c of a few custom indicators i hvnt found on ctrader! Tradingview/Ctrader much better for analysis.

That does not happen. One line in a chart does not appear on other charts! If you change the symbol of the chart, you are still in the same chart, then obviously, lines should be there.

TradingView is the worst alternative. Who would create indicators and strategies that sit on an unmanaged server? that also run on an unmanaged server? Please guys, protect your intellectual property!
