Can you advice how much truth in this reply from a brokerage company? It is a regulated brokerage company. Customer lost all money. Can he claim money back through regulator?

Kindly note that due to low liquidity and trade between 12:00 AM and 01:00 AM the spread between ask and bid will widen and fluctuate considerably, especially in case of variable spread, your hedged positions might still get liquidated, even if they are fully hedged. Nevertheless, the spread at 00:18 AM on 23/08/2021 was 8 pips, and the price reached 1.16991 for the ask price and 1.16917 for the bid price. The chart will show you the Bid price only, however; to know the spread at that time you have to calculate the difference between Bid price, and Ask price.

In addition there was less equity in your account during this transaction.

Please keep in mind that it is a high risk market, and your account is variable spread, thus, during hectic market or high volatility, hedge will not be an option to avoid the risk.

Ok, seems it's time to change bias to bullish on daily. However, I still hope 1.1804 to be tested. NY is open. Close above 1.1860 is bullish to me. Bullish means I look to drops as correction. If close above 1860 I will cut a part of my shorts in loss and will buy dips to manage dd. I will wait for 1.1804 to close older shorts, if reach there. Tomorrow is NFP. I'm ready for both correction or spike up.
