thank you also for the link. i have or i tried to build an EA from scratch. and the problem is or was, if tested by choosing duration dates from the tester, say like if the trend of that day which i selected the duration for backtesting is an uptrend, the ea will respond and executed buy order once the buy order given command is meet. like i used moving average 1 & 2 current and previous crossovers.

but when the time of sell where supposedly the sell command will commence, the sell wont work, instead the buy continued to go even if its downtrend already and the crossover the do the sell for downtrend was meet.

any help from you please how to debug this. and im using also trailing stop where it works. the only problem is it never reverses when the time of sell after ma crosses and likewise the time of buy after ma crosses. i tested this and the results was the following below:

i have a video but its too big. i will try to zip it.

the execution of ea is one at a time for every trend. just to test if the ea operates in one way direction. but unfortunately, the problem arises when i run it once with the duration date of the backtest with an uptrend and downtrend. whoever arrived first , for instance buy , everything is buy and no more sell. and if sell detected first everytick are all sell and no more buys.

This is now the error after downtrend where supposedly the buy will commence. but unfortunately, sell dominates all the trades.. huhuhuhu..

remember, i assembled the script coming from scratch. i have an ea where there is no trailing stop. and also ma crosses to buy and exit above the set level of stoch and likewise sell when ma crosses and exit below set level of stoch.

hope someone or somebody with a big and good hearth can help me debug this.

this is the simple program i made but i need your expertise to refine my ea from scratch. thank you for your help if anyone can help me.. please.. Juliefa.

2. mqh 2 files

all in one folder and in expert folder.

The files you uploaded are ex4, which means they are not editable. You need mq4 files, which are editable. So it's not likely you will get the help you need here without editable files.

Where did you get the Actual Guide Lines Buy/Sell indicator?

Hi can you make ea for me please
Normal MACD with zero line, 100EMA. Open long trade when price cross MACD above zero line and price above 100ema. Close trade either Stoploss or macd cross again. Go short when MACD crosses below zero line and price below 100ema .Changeable TP 50,SL 30and trailing stop 10pips. I have attached picture what I'm looking for of easy to understandable. Thanks

this could be a very childish stupid issue to ask here but I hope you can help me clear it one for all confusions. I try to see the see the median price in programming.
Is it double MEDIAN = iMA(NULL,1440,365,0,MODE_LWMA,PRICE_MEDIAN,0);
will it give you the yearly median price? (Year has 365 days )
or is it iMA(NULL,1440,1440,0,MODE_LWMA,PRICE_MEDIAN,0); to be used to get yearly median?

also Why when I use on a D1 TF chart and I draw using standard functions a moving average line similar these conditions,LWMA, 365 days, I always get a very different median price???? Where is the fault????

secondly we know market is fractal, but even though yearly median is a should be constant value of all TFs, when I run though each TF the early median is sometimes very close, sometimes very far above or below the current price??? Why is it? I expect if current price is below the median price in Weekly, then D1, then I should expect to see it in H4 in H1 or M15 too if not how I say it was fractal, if is not how can I trade with it?
