WTI Crude Oil Trading

WTI went up $2.12 today with an average ATR that produced 4 winning trades and 3 break even trades. On a H1 chart there was basically only one trade from the beginning of the session to the end of the session.

taking a cheeky short here will bail quickly if it gets above $68

it was good for a few and now the rally seems to be back in play.

On the other hand, lowering the brick size to 5 pips (same as when trading EURUSD and other low ATR pairs) the result is much better. this range is too tight and erratic for my liking. by the time you enter its moving the opposite direction, prefer to wait it out.

WTI went up $1.54 today with an above average ATR that produced only 2 winning trades but the first one was the best any trader can wish for. It's rare to have a trend that lasts over 12 hours.

trapped in a range around $70 doesn't appear to have enough to push it down. would expect it to head to the other side of the range soon doubt it will break further north today but who knows .
