Managed to get a bit of scalp here and there on USDJPY and Gold. Good USD news but only about a 20 pip move. Probably have a move coming up later but USDJPY coming close to sell levels for me.

That was a huge drop for gold. I did scalp a few sells and buys. But yes, looking very oversold right now.

Looks like gold may fall further to 1755 which was previous support level. It did break 1793.45, but as Gold goes, it usually doesn't do much of a retracement after breaking support and resistance levels and can just go in one direction until it is satisfied.

Positive US news is still catalyst right now.

I just bought Gold at 1760 and now go to bed . I will be back on Monday

Great thread Darkangel. Just came across this today and have been reading thru it all afternoon and got thru all 61 pages haha. I seem to catch just a slight gist of how this works, basically look for a 123 pattern and enter with divergence . However if I might ask a few things:

1. How do you determine a 123 pattern? Do you use the zig zag indicator for this ? How do you know that the 3 in the swing will be the actual swing point to complete the 123 pattern.

2. You also mentioned that the 3 point shouldn't retrace beyond a certain fib level to be valid. I might have understood this wrongly but whats the fib level

3. I also noticed that you use pitchforks and mentioned wolve waves. How does this aid in your 123pattern strategy

I only asked one question to darkangel on this thread earlier and still waiting for reply, but this matteo fella came to pm me with links to his own thread created just to talk shiet about dark. After reading thru all 60 plus pages of darks thread , I don't think he is doing anything questionable. So I've put this matteo on my ignore list.

I think he might be too busy or missed a quote because of the number of posts that can come on at one time? He did miss a few of mine before too. I guess you could try to quote him again and see if it catches his attention.

Everyone has their own methods of trading, nobody's right or wrong. If you're someone that is so successful, I don't think you'd have the time to be on the forums much less flaming any person. Not sure why they have so much time on their hands to do so.

NFPs were positive for the dollar but remain how the market interprets it.
I remember when I had my wife's mother visiting my home, to show her my respect and that I appreciated her visit ordered a lot of food dishes. But the result was completely different than I expected, she experienced my behavior as if I was trying to show her that I can afford and am much more financially stronger than my wife's family.
What I'm trying to say is that maybe we had a good NFP last Friday but the question is how would the market interpret it, is this sufficient? more positive NFPs are needed to convince the market that the Fed is about to change its economic policy.

We have to notice some things, with all the positive numbers from NFP and AudUsd could not fall so much, Gold backed to 1657 a little higher on top of big support 1750 ... and could not agree to reach 1750.
Can we use this as a reference? What happened to everyone who has sold and is sitting with a lot of profit, is it time for them to pick the profit which can lead to great retracement?
Trading is not only a technical strategy but also to try to understand how the rest will interpret what happened last Friday.

I use 123 where each point has a special criterion and with fib tools can calculate where is the nearest resistance and where we could add or minimize position size. Divergence is also very effective but not the one available online, where a lot is explained on divergence in a simple way, the price goes lower but RSI, stochastic goes higher but does not talk about how much lower the price would go so I can as a trader Realizing that it has failed, Pichforks is a great tool that can tell you what the majority are looking for.
Honestly if I explain how this works then I need a lot of pages to be able to do it and answer all sorts of questions. I just posted my thoughts and what I think price will do next and got a lot of criticism, was notified to the adminstration by someone named Poker something that I sold him product and was actually about to leave this thread.
Unfortunately I will not explain everything here as there is a clear risk that I do a great service to some who do not deserve it, but in fact have my own little Group that I take care of there we run only with the above methods and it is free.
This does not mean that I invite traders or that I advertise anything but try to explain to you why I do not answer similar questions.
I really hope you understand this and believe that you will act in the same way if this happens to you.
