Simplicity surely is key, i only use pivots, structure and momentum, maybe fibs when i need more confirmation but thats it in a nutshell. 'Seeing' is the magic ingredient for me i have to admit, for over 20 years i looked at charts, but to actually 'see' is a different ball game. There is little to no stress now when i trade, it works or it doesnt, i have used so many methods over the years and indicators i couldnt count there have been so many but the best is yourself, no flashing light will make you a consistently profitable trader, it definitely comes from within.
May i just add that the main influences that got me to this nirvana for their sheer brilliance and simplicity were Maxdoom, Claudia, Davit and the legendary Ken A, you people taught me without realising it, thank you

OK traders
Once more a bit of follow up on big picture moves and large targets.
I only put this up for the lessor experienced and those who are struggling to profit.
Even if you prefer short TF trading you will never get there until you master this simple approach.
We have just had some fantastic trades on long first stage TF with gold, all off pivots with a dose of common sense appraisal.
The hunt trade is very much on again.
Gold is giving the cues well ahead of time once more, Bigtime.
Have you drawn your lines, boxes or what ever allows you to vison your moves and take the next step.
If you have not I shall tie you to a stake and light the fire until it sinks in.
The lines will not only confirm sup/res and pivots but also confirm the ongoing patterns, structures and targets forming.
Now use scaling, zoom in and out to help with the minds eye to set your entry's and targets, this allows you to gauge if the upcoming trade will be safe, is there enough room for the profit, how much am I prepared to loose if it go's against me.
Print out in simple vanilla black and white, keep it simple so in blows your eyes mind set in to place.
I still do this if I change the targeted instrument example if the market tells me US30 is there for the taking and I have not been trading for a while I will stick that print out on my pin board, in my face.
Only now that the above is done I use shorter TFs with pivots to hone in.
Now traders it is time for you to have a crack at it, put up your pictures with some explanation and we will put our two our cents worth on it.
