The other thing I am going to add here .....
Trading a real account that has $1000.00 in it should not be "pre-determined" to be ANY different to trading a $10,000 or higher account. And another very poignant thing to say here is the ROI on a $1000 account need not differ from anything higher. Of course this is pivoted on the fact that you CAN actually trade, know how to divide your money AND manage it well. So if you're a crappy trader then your ROI : account size in total obviously needs to get smaller as your account grows. Whatever the balance, your skills are what adds or subtracts to or from that account, not the net return level.
Net $$$ predictability. For every X pips the market moves what can you do with it?
A 1% return on your efforts with a $1000 account is no different to using a much larger account. The difference only exists in your mind. Management can vary but not because of "the amount". That's just back to a "weak pysche".
If you don't believe this, then you've already failed. Other people's failings and weaknesses are not yours.
Perform your process and make notes every step as you go.
