doesn't matter if i close mt4, restart it, remove from chart or re-attach it, i remain with the same

Change the name back to what ever name your ea was referencing before FFC_xxxx

i don't think u understand my issue...
what does the timer error has to do with the name of the file???
i have changed the name of icustom in my ea to the same as the ffc name has...
i don't understand what this has to do with it... anyway, i have tried that already, before i came on this platform posting about my issue.
its an issue that can happen with using icustom in ea's ... but i know that the one i used before did not had this issue at all.... so this means that the previous file had this error fixed, and now the new files i have continue having this issue....
old file i had was only ex4... so i cannot check what is diffirence....
still hoping for a solution, because this is eating up the ram from my vps and my laptop allot...

Hi, my skill sets do not include coding. I have a few news indicators and none of them show past events. I do believe however that a FF News indicator does. I am referring to the FF news indicator which was removed because many computers created a false positive as having a virus, I don't really know.
I am attaching a very cool News reader I recently found on Forex Factory as well. The best news indicator have a url custom entry space in the settings. Although this one does not, it works very well.

Thank you, but I changed the address already and restarted MT4. The problem still occurs. In spite of the fact that NewsCal displays upcoming events correctly, the error 'not initialized string' still emerges and my EA is not able to receive upcoming events from NewsCal anymore. I have an old computer with Windows 10 that has not been updated in 2 years and the latest version of MT4. It works fine with NewsCal and always has. My newer computers with latest versions of windows 10 and MT4 do no. It appears to me that latest versions of windows 10 may possibly be the culprit.

I've been looking for the correct URL to download from for a long time.
I think this keeps changing every once in a while because irresponsible coders let users download the file from the server too frequently, so websites have connectivity issues and then change the location of the file or change its name.
