Good morning! First of all you over leveraged your account, and worse thing is that you've entered a hedge instead of taking your loses when its due. Hedging does work in certain cases but in the case of an over leveraged account, and a pair as volatile as gold, I really don't think its a good idea.

Anyway, just my thoughts on this, I think you should look to 1812-1815 to close off your buys and aim for a retracement down to 1800 to close off your sell. If you checked out the price action yesterday right after US CPI, you would have been able to get out of the hedge, but its like pulling off an insane heist lol. This is just damage control which trading is ultimately all about. Money control, something I'm bad at but am learning and trying to be discipline about.

Itxtaha - close the position and take the loss.

Trading small you can take this as a learning cost and just refund the account. Refunding account can be a good thing as they teach you not to let a loss run or trade news events.

I think your asking peeps for help because in some way you hope the trade will turn around. This is the fear of losing and will send you broke or worse completely kill your confidence.

Everyone has a different loss limit. Know your loss limit mate.

Sorry mate, close the trades and take home the lessons.
1. Money management in terms of lot size
2. To know when to exit and use sl
3. Kill the greediness and finaly
4. Patience is also profit. Better make 30 pips daily and keep your account than to make 100 pips and loose them all

I was in the same situation 2weeks ago on gold with -$900 with hedging waited till it shooted up then when it tried to retrace i closed buy and waited untill it comes near to where sell is and closed it with -$300 loss. And guess what it was very risky but this was the only way to get out with minimum loss.

We have this today:

EU: Long as long price does not close below 1,1770 on daily.
UC: Short as we do have a bearish divergence daily targeting 0,91 then 0,9060.
NzdUsd: Long with SL close below 0,6923 on daily basis.
GU: Long as long price does not close below 1,3753 on 4hr basis
AU: Long as long price does not close below 0,74 on daily basis
UC: Price in a bearish divergence daily, targeting 1,2148, SL close above 1,2590 o a daily basis. Here we have news today.

Gold: As long price above 1797 then we should target 1823 or higher, be patient don't chase the trade.
Silver: Heading north as long price above 25,53

Gold could retrace into broken resistance area 1818, buyers are waiting there to push the price into the next resistance level 1833 which represents 50fib of the whole down move.

Gold buy the dips.
