FTMO - For serious traders

I like it, but i joined before they got the new site and the old one was so bad.

I am yet to see any trader who is with FTMO on long term basis

I have forgotten a 0.01 trade opened during the weekend. This was just for practical surpose only, because my month was end and i wanted to do a sort of "paper trading", that's why it's 0.01. I have the normal FTMO Funded Account, not the Swing one. Will it result in the termination of the contract without any kind of "flag" or second chance?

Is there any trader on this forum that trades on FTMO and trades US30 only?

Me too, I am also interested in seeing how the long term scaling takes place.

I am considering their Accelerated account since I do not think to bother about target. My DD are way below their 5%.

Funded. I passed the challenge and verification using nothing more than us30.

It is my pleasure to welcome you to another regular Friday update. Once again it will be a rather short one, as, since the recent announcement, we’ve been dedicating our time mostly to internal operations.

Let’s start with the platforms: there are no major holidays announced for the following week, and therefore no planned trading hours changes for any of our instruments. Cryptocurrencies will also remain available throughout the whole weekend as no platform break is scheduled for this weekend.
Specifically thanks to those occasional maintenance breaks, our entire infrastructure solution and Datafeed is robust and running efficiently, ensuring the greatest execution conditions for our traders.

Hi PayTheBid, as we want to keep the trading conditions on the Challenge and Verification exactly the same as on the FTMO Account (so the trader is already used to them by the time he/she becomes an FTMO Trader), the leverage on both Evaluation Swing accounts and on the FTMO Account Swing is identical.

Hello Thoughts, thank you for your inputs. Although I understand some of the points you’re making, most of them are related rather to the business side. As here we’re addressing topics related to mainly trading, I’m not really in the position where I could discuss the reasons why we potentially could or could not incorporate some of the suggestions you made. Bi-weekly payouts are something we are already working on, but at our scale it requires quite a lot of preparation to make sure everything will go smoothly. The timeline of rolling this out is multiple months.
However, we’re constantly assessing possible future improvements and all recommendations are always welcomed.

Hi Wags, although we’ve done a few discount sales in the past, I’m currently not aware that such an event should be coming up in the future any time soon.

Hello HoLoTrader, I can’t promise at 100% certainty as currently unknown circumstances could influence the outcome, but in the case you outlined, we would likely request you to change to Swing account type. We are always aiming for long-term cooperation, so unless there would be other issues found, it’s unlikely we would terminate your contract just for such a minor issue.

Hello BaneleFX, our long-term profitable traders can use the Scaling Plan to increase their initial balance even above $400,000. If, after trading for 4 months (technically speaking 4 consecutive trading periods) on the FTMO Account, you manage to gain at least 10% of total profit while keeping at least 2 of these 4 months profitable, your account will be eligible for a balance increase of 25% of the original account size. Just email us prior to your Profit Split that you fulfilled these conditions and we will provide a scaled-up account for your next trading period.
It is also important that the trader’s balance needs to be above the initial capital (in profit) during the time of scale-up.
This process can be repeated every 4 months (assuming the trader meets the required conditions). As of now, we have not set any maximum amount of capital increment our traders can receive using the Scaling Plan.

Hello Phil_GMT, it seems that you have not inserted any values before actually downloading the file - please note that you have to fill in the Mentor App settings first in your Client Area.
Once done, then kindly proceed to the “Download the app” option and install the app in your MetaTrader platform.
