the keys to success with Stochs XO:

1. Only take signals above the 70 line and below the 30 line
2. Only take them if the XO remains valid at close of bar because otherwise it can repaint
3. Only take trades in line with trend, so use the MA filter at the very least (otherwise you have to filter out counter-trend trades by awaiting a cross of the stochs back through levels, such at 75,25 or 80,20, an option which keeps you out until price action is going your way, but really I prefer the MA filter because you're in the right direction and you get in at a better entry price)
4. Watch for divergence between lines drawn across peaks/troughs of price and stoch oscillator suggesting a trend shift is coming up
5. Use it on timeframes of 1H, 4H and above

When only going with trend, there are pairs which this basic strategy can deliver very consistent results

Sorry for my English.
I wanted some help.
I get a buy signal when the main line crosses up.
But I can not signal a sale when the main line crosses down.
I am using the following code.

if((iStochastic(NULL,0,5,3,3,MODE_SMA,1,MODE_MAIN,0)<iStochastic(NULL,0,5,3,3,MODE_SMA,1,MODE_SIGNAL,0))&&(iRSI(NULL,0,14,PRICE_CLOSE,0)>30))

It's the code to sell.
Notice the attached figure.
He made several purchases at one time.
And he did not when he should do as the arrow shows.

I want it to sell when the main line crosses and is above the signal line.
I could not open a new topic because I'm new.
Can someone help me?

Dear all,

When I compile the original mq4 and try to do backtesting I get the following:

2020.12.28 23:56:53.326 GBPJPY,M15: 40001681 tick events (24805 bars, 40037204 bar states) processed in 0:00:04.446 (total time 0:00:04.446)

However when I go to report no positions have been opened, can anyone help?

i made some changes in EA find attached EA

if somebody can make more improvement in EA will be great -please mention in reply i will send the mq4 file

test the EA for EurUsd 1 hour

i try run the same setting in other pair all not success (only eurusd 1 hour give v good results )

If you dont mind could you share it. Maybe somebody can help it. I think stochastic very useful but it need filter

I have an idea for this EA

The rule 14.3.3

Buy cross bellow 20
Sell cross above 80

SL 100pips
TP 50 Pips

After market move 20 pips change to BE. (I hope it could be improvement.

I have now test those EA here in the tread but none of them result in profit. Stochastic 833 v0,1 open buytrades when ther shoukd be sell.

What is wrong?

Why is it not an clos of the trade when the cross is under 80 or over 20? Why does it not open trades under 80 or aboev 20.

How can I change so that it trade between 0 and 100?
