Symbols Changer for MT5

Here is an updated version that includes an option to set the symbol on all charts.

MT4 and MT5 versions with source are included.

This indicator can be displayed on the Main Chart Window or any Indicator Subwindow. Symbols can be defined as specified input or can be taken from MarketWatch or the General List. Symbol Buttons can be set to any Window corner. Other options can be configured for button layout and appearance.

I am wondering if it is possible to have this create it's own sub-window?This is great work, thanks so much. I had something much like this for mt4 but it opened it's own window and also had time frame buttons. Would you consider any modifications? Thx

(Mainly only needed for when there are multiple indicators competing for Chart click priority.)

here is a watchlist indicator. it can change the symbol by clicking or using the up/down key in the list and create up to 5 watchlists. you can also use the 'w' key to make the window invisible or visible again. the symbol change with the up/down key works even if the window is invisible.

It includes advertisement link, green button in the screenshot.

Re up/down keys: it will be good to have an option to choose, which list to use to change symbols from, now they go only through the leftmost list.

Hi idiamond!

MT5 version stopped working with XAU pair. It works with EU, GU and others, but if choose XAU, then it will be impossible to click - nothing happens.
Kindly ask you to check the things if you have time. Thanks!

p.s. just found that my panel stopped working with XAU too. If I'll find the fix faster I'll fix your panel too.

idiamond mate. This is a simple and yet powerful indicator that doesn't hang when too many other indis are used together on the same chart. I particularly like the MT5 version which is sorely lacking in the scene. Good job man.

Would it be possible for you to code a simple line or 2 in your source file to include an on/off button feature to hide away and show when needed the pairings so as to not clutter my chart real estate/space since I have quite a bit of stuff loaded all at once on the screen...

I love the idea that all info/data are taken from Market Watch meaning even if I have different Broker using funny suffixes I am still able to use it properly without a hitch. And I can include other items besides currency, like XAUUSD, indices etc. That's mighty awesome stuff. Now what's missing is to have an on/off button feature to wherever I can decide on the charts.

These indicators appear to have stopped working. Is there a new version available or am I doing something wrong.

If you drag a symbol from marketwatch onto the Master chart, the slave charts do change over. So maybe the master chart indicator
needs to be looked at.

Edit: worked out why, symbol suffix needs to be added to master
