Hi people,
Need some assistance here. Made a custom indi that scans candle pattern and draw box on it.
However it draws the same box multiple times and print text multiple times too.
It keeps printing text at minute 45 before reference candle, and continue way to the close time of the next candle after the reference.
Need the scan to work as it is but only need to draw the box and print the text once after the reference candle close.
And when new reference candle appears, need the old box to be deleted when the new box drawn.

.......please try the one with multi instance functionality!
It allow's adding as many instances as desired to the same chart, with different pre-set time frames or periods!

Added barshift input......... in order to have the historical data of for example the last week,
it only requires pre-setting of period=1, Tf=Week and barshift=1!

Looks like renamed of Mladen's MA RSI indicator -
So if you like and interested in reliable codes by reliable coders,you can try this - of course you will not have such attractive results/display comparing to misleading code

Hey, would appreciate if someone can make me this simple indicator, it is a Donchain channel indicator(which is simply the highest high and lowest low of the last certain amount of candles that you choose, with a mid level between them) but rather than outlining the highest high and lowest low, i want the highest body regardless if its an open or close and the lowest body again regardless if its an open or close

ideally i want it to be MTF (multi-time frame) and also the option to color and change the lines settings of the upper channel and lower channel, as well as the mid-line

The "#4X 2011 XARD SSA.mq4" needs "SSA" indicator for to work
Both are old enough
SSA (singular spectrum analysis) indicator repaints
better to avoid it but you knows better

i think i couldnt explain it well,here is another explanation as what i want ,i want a dashbaord that shows present pip data and historical values as well ,see the example.

I have been looking at a NonLagMA/Tema EA originally created as a project by Aaron Peterson. It uses the SSA to filter out some of the smaller crosses. Its odd that the thread stops suddenly and little info is provided about these older indicators. Aaron Peterson does not seem to be contactable using his messaging options of over 10 years ago.

I am sure that there is scope for a successful EA, or just simple trading signals based on the NonLagMa. It is apparent that a filter is needed to deal with the periods of tight ranging that simply eat away the profits. The same with most EA's.
The Aaron Peterson group tried to use the SSA but no reports of success or failure were included in the forum. My thoughts were to utilise a much longer period NLMA to only allow trades in the direction of the current trend in a higher timeframe. Maybe another option would be Bollinger band width.
I have no coding knowledge whatsoever so am not really able to test these properly.
If you have any advice as to any other effective methods of reducing ranging losses it would be greatly appreciated.
