Could the great and generous coders help me change display of this ROC indi to form 3-column display, and sorted by the pips arrays ascending, currently it prints 2-line, horizontal display

Hi,

Im looking for an engulfing candle indicator that shows the arrow on the current bar not when the bar ends if anyone have it I would really appreciated

The engulfing that Im looking for is:

Bullish

Open of current bar =< close of previous bar
Close of current bar > High of previous bar

Bearish
Open of current bar => close of previous bar
Close of current bar < Low of previous bar

ok guys,

I have found and engulfing candle indicator and have modified to disoplay the type of engulfing that I was looking for.

The only thing that I need help with is with the arrow displaying on the current candle instead of when it finish.
If someone could update an do the arrow thing I will really apppreciated

Here is a good example of incomplete description - indicator of the average price movement between 8:45 to 19:45

Should the average be taken every 5/30/60/... minutes?
Are we using High/Low or Open/Close of the bars?
How should bullish and bearish bars be treated?
What if there are gaps between some bars?

Maybe you are even thinking of adding the values from different indicators together???

I've found out that actually showing what you are trying to describe on a chart help remove ambiguities, but not sure why people don't want to do it

Using the chart for the ASR as an example;

get the highs/lows from Zig-zag, and subtract to get the swings, carefully identifying the up/down swings

add the values of previous 5 up-swings and divide by 5. Same for down-swings

will be helpful/cleaner if you maintain your records/values in Arrays

There is an EA that trades on my MT4 demo account but there are a number of losing trades that could be avoided if
these losing trades ( which go against the direction of MACD on 1 hour chart ).

Could you kindly code an EA which stops the MT4 from opening any trades generated from other EAs when
these entries are in opposite direction of MACD ( 12/26/9 ) on 1 hr. chart?

You have to edit the problematic EA itself, can't create another EA to stop this problematic EA from opening new positions.

Can someone assist with a dumb question. I don't know what I did but I am no longer able to instantly close positions from the order window by clicking the "x" in the Profit column. What happens is a confirmation box appears instead that I can close from but before I was able to close the position without the confirmation popup.

Is there a setting I made somewhere to activate this? How can I disable it?

Apologies for posting on this thread but it's very active and you all are very good with MT4.

anyone know of an indicator that will show the order lines like MT4, after an order is closed. but be able to change lines colour, SL and TP lines, size and colour please....

you should enable one-click trading: tools > options > trade tab
