we have to learn how to be patient and wait until the market presents us with a good opportunity.
That trading is transforming from profession to addictive behavior and I am starting to feel a great need to jump into the market regardless of whether the opportunity exists or not is a big problem.
Some great traders I know have such problems, they continue to try to be in the market even when it is clear that there is nothing to hunt, they start taking small trades or scalp while they know it does not suit their trading personality, yet they feel that they need to be inside the market.
The question is. am I here to make money or exciting or try to mix both. We should be able to treat trading as a profession like any other profession, where the purpose is to make money and develop myself in this profession.
I have stopped being eager and excited for a while now, would like to help other traders start to realize that this is a business.
Many traders compare trading with poker or describing it as a manipulated business, which is not true in my opinion.
Trading will be similar to poker if you lack the right tools/knowledge and manipulation will, of course, be part of this business but it is not aimed at you, as I said you can not ask the elephant to take into account small ants, he can not even see them, of course, some ants experience that the elephant trampled on them consciously, while in fact the elephant just wanted to go towards a tree or lake to drink water, meaning fulfill their needs.
No matter how much whining the ants and screaming will not change reality, you are an ant so behave like one.
Try to realize your strength, you can close your positions easily, quick to make new decisions but above all you can see the elephant (if you have the right tools/knowledge), you need a small piece of leaves while the elephant must get the whole tree .. It's much easier to get some leaves every day than to find new trees daily.
